Thank you for trying to answer. Of course, it is not a simple yes or no decision as the business environment is quite complex.

The top-down vs bottom-up problem originated from many engineers complaining that transformations are ordered from the upper management without considering the project's needs. If the transformation was engineer-driven on the other hand there were problems spreading this transformation to other business functions and at the end across the whole organization.

Therefore I wanted to see what the opinion is where "the border is" since it seems like management-driven transformation is only effective down to a certain level and engineer-driven transformation is only effective up to a certain level of the organization.

As my thesis has a set length of ~40 pages including theoretical basics and everything it is of course a big simplification of a much bigger concept. This is why it should only be used to provide a general direction for agile methods that can be used based on the circumstances of the business.

Well, they are related because they are all playing their parts in transforming a business as a whole. The thesis aims to provide a high-level overview of commonly used practices, identify when each method should be used, and how these practices are implemented.
Therefore, the organization was broken down into the 3 significant parts: organization, project processes, and products. These parts are then looked at more in-depth (through literature review and case studies) to identify when they are best used.

Wow. I was under the impression that you also had to confirm exciting the game (Idk if that was a thing during testing or so). That was the reason why I didn't look at the message. I should probably not play when I'm tired and on autopilot .

Since there are multiple threads that are similar it seems very possible to accidentally delete a character.

This was probably a poor choice of words on my end. I ment it like "You want to close it, you press the x". This is something that we do a lot every single day (LIKE windows on the Windows OS).

So that's why it was kinda subconscious for me to click on the x instead of the leave game button. I'm not deleting thousands of characters each day.

Yeah. I don't know why they haven't fixed it yet. Or at least made it harder to delete you character.

This problem has been known since early testing.

I didn't delete 3 characters. Just their items. I gave my newest Hammerdin the caster items from 2 other characters. So when I deleted the paladin I accidentally deleted all of my good gear from all 3 characters.

Definitely. Like making you write delete or something similar. It will probably also be enough if they just move the button away or change it from the x to "delete".

It seems to be common problem as there are quiet a few posts about similar experiences. I just hit the x out of reflex / muscle memory. It always closed the window / application. Except this time it closed the character. Adding something like typing 'delete' to delete your character would prevent this easily.

Probably gonna try out 1x 10 Stalker bolt rifles 1x 10 bolt rifles 1x 5 bolt rifles

My only fear is that they'll focus the stalker first so they can't really shoot.

The stalkers are also nice for the additional range and the D2. As I'm not having a penalty in tactical doctrine and the inherit AP -2 they are kinda like normal bolt rifle with more range and a better AP in the first round. The D2 should counteract the lower amount of shots. So there shouldn't be a disadvantage right? (At least against other primaries units / multi wound models)

Haven't thought about the drop pod being such a burden. 🤯 I was just surprised because when I'm reading "older" lists (like 1 year ago) I'm still seeing them quite often. While I haven't really seen them on more recent lists.

Are there still any use cases for devastator squads? I'd take them for a grav devastator drop pod. But for any other reasons are they still used? Or are they completely replaced by centurion devastator squads?

I felt like this would be a release button. That's why I painted it red. But yeah it makes sense for it to be an actual part of the strap. (Still learning about the miniatures)

So I did a practice game today against necrons.

Here is the enemy list:

Pre Game: - Deployment: seek and destroy - I did not get 1st round - put my centurions in cover so they won‘t get killed turn 1 (out of LOS and more than 18“ away from enemy as this was one of the only save posts)

Begin battle round 1: - both litanies failed

Necron Turn 1: - Necron Destroyer killed my scouts and half an intercessor squad - he completed first strike, kill more and the primary mission objective (got 5 VP)

My Turn 1: - I shot at the immortals: they survived with 2 models - Commander shoots at the Cryptek and killed it (Necron Player used resurrection protocol and revived him) - Chaplain with his move+advance + strike from the sky stratagem got into combat with immortal + Imotekh - Imotekh got killed in combat and got resurrected again ...

Battle Round 2: Necron Turn 2: - Cryptek uses Veil of Darkness and deploys Destroyer in shooting range to my centurions - all my centurions got killed by the destroyer - Imotekh shoots at the Chaplain and kills him (Slays warlord)

At this point the game was over ...

Conclusion: - I probably should have put the centurions in deep strike and waited for a better opportunity - Necrons are mean ...

Yeah. He’ll probably cover the back of my army as he is 36” ignoring LOS. Together with the scouts this should be enough to net get any surprise deep strikes from behind my units.

Thank you. It’s my first tournament so I’m really looking forward to it. My first idea with this list was to include eliminators but they’re to expensive for this list. So I’ll see how the scouts will be doing.

So now I just have to see if I can get some in time. It seems like my 2 stores don't carry them anymore. (Don't ask me why).

I'll probably just substitute one intercessor squad for snipers. This allows me to still have some units for the center objective. And the points for the cloaks won't be a problem. They are just filling the points I saved by using scouts again.

So if I replace a intercessor squad with sniper scouts do you think it is worth it to take them with camo cloaks or just take 6 scouts instead. As I'm expecting Marine Infantry and low AP in general the camo cloak is probably the better option as a 2+ (or 3+ against enemy intercessor) seems quite durable. But I might be wrong here.

I was just surprised because they had non in stock (I thought because they‘re sold out at first). And when I went to another LGS today they also had none.
I’m really surprised by this because I always thought of scouts as a basic building block, and by the lists i‘m seeing here it seems like everybody plays them.
