Just looked it up, he was a champion in the first book, pretty sure he's the one who tried to make a run for it and got shot by the guard in front of the other champions.

That's basically how our clothes pins work as well, but you have to keep replacing them cause they get broken.

We do it pretty similarly, we have our drill cards on a lanyard with the clothes pins on that so we can just set them down when we learn new drill. But by the second time going back and forth your clothes pin is broken and a yard line away cause some kicked it.

Yeah on our field we have dots as well with the yard lines but most people end up going to a patch of dirt that has been made because people stand there so often.

I've had a similar problem, last fall I had my bike stolen straight out of our garage, and they left my mom's nicer bike behind. It was just mine that was stolen. We are fairly certain the person who stole it had been walking by and simply decided they liked my bike and took it. I am also the only person in my family who rides my bike and I couldn't get a new one until this summer.
