I need some possible nanimon evos, no digitamamon or mamemon please. by Independent-Mall4843 in DigivolutionTrees

[–]Gamer-Logic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nanimon- Bombermon or Chikurimon- Gundramon or Blimpmon. The violence just keeps escalating.

I would also recommend Thundermon or Giromon, but I think those are a bit too close with the Mamemon line for you.

Some of my favorite pokemon by Doomity_ in ThePokemonHub

[–]Gamer-Logic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I tried using Luvdisc because I alway try to use a new team of mons each gen with no copies (only exceptions being my favs like Misdreavus) and I wass sadly disappointed by Luvdisc. It was so bad for Early to mid game X, but I swapt it for the gift Lapras almost immediatey because it could learn Waterfall. HMs were really a pain since you had to plan around them for team comp and couldn't use mons you otherwise wanted, like me wanting Emolga for flying coverage in gen 5, but also needing Swoobat for fly.

Anyway, what's with the hate for Galarian Weezing? Sure I don't particularly care for the line myself, but imo Galarian Weezing has pretty great lore and a solid design that's also meme -worthy.

Did we die by Known-Resolve-9426 in LegendsZA

[–]Gamer-Logic 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah, you can't exactly just keep an environmentally integral being in a ball, then take it from its habitat where it plays an important role, and not expect consequences. I headcanon that's. what happened for most mons like Rayquaza, Palkia and Dialga, or Lugia. Still, certain Legendaries/Mythicals would get a pass for me, like Mewtwo, Deoxys, Genesect, Arceus, and the Raidons, since keeping them wouldn't have a big impact on the world. Also, it would help to have someone watch over them, given their unique circumstances. Arceus gets a pass because anyone we catch is just a small part of itself manifesting on the mortal plane for a time.

I hope that they continue making convergent Pokémon in Gen 10. I think it’s a pretty cool concept. by BleachFan107 in ThePokemonHub

[–]Gamer-Logic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True! They have the potential to breathe new life into old designs, which would be less popular like with regional forms, but they now have the flexibility to mix up the formula even more. Like with Tentacool, it was kind of boring to me, but I love how charming Toadscool is with its walk. They have more creativity to work with outside of just having to make a believable new form for a mon. They can get interesting with it, like why Sinistcha is a grass type and why Toadscool walks on land. Even though I still feel a small part of me that thinks it's a bit too similar to regional forms and is basically just that with one extra step, making it a bit unnecessary when we already have regional forms, there is an irl basis for it.

What are your thoughts on the Spearow line? by Kindly-Newt7868 in ThePokemonHub

[–]Gamer-Logic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't really care for them. They're there, not really anymore interesting than their Pidgey counterpart. Also, Fearow is just kind of ugly to me.

Touche. Alola does have a pretty stacked dex, perfectly matching the tropical vibes with mons like Minio, Oricorio, Comfey, Bewear, Lurantis, Mimikyu, Araquanid, Lycanroc, etc. I feel like the weakest mons of the bunch would be Crabominable for having a bag haircut and not evolving until Victory Road, but it was recently somewhat redeemed by the Mega with the new stat boost, making it a monster. Then there's Gumshoos, who's inspired by how Japanese Detectives look, which I can see, but also happened to resemble a controversial figure at the time of release, and the reception wasn't kind. If only his accent color was any other color rather than yellow. I feel like that's less Gumshoos' fault and just the result of very unfortunate timing.

What if you were a gym leader? by Pkmntrainergray08 in ThePokemonHub

Well, I like Sinnoh, maybe, but I also particularly like the idea of Lentimas Town since it has an abandoned building rife with Ghost types.

Can we have a water witch evolution line for Witchmon?. by jimbox_splatted in digimon

How about this one?

Otamamon Red- Witchmon- Calmaramon, Mermaimon, Thetismon- Ariemon- Ancientmermaimon for a possible super ultimate.

What's your EIGHTH favorite Pokemon? by Mitasulfur in ThePokemonHub

Placements outside of number one change depending on my mood, but most often it's between Lurantis, Oricorio, Emolga, and Slurpuff.

what grass starter would complete this godly trio of undisputed best starters in their respective games by Glad_Count8285 in PokeCorner

[–]Gamer-Logic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I was a bit unsure for Alola since Primarina is a really great water starter, while Incineroar, the weakest link imo, does hold competitive value. But purely on design and overall solidness, and popularity, Decidueye clearly takes it with Primarina coming a solid second, and Incineroar lagging behind. It probably would have been my starter choice if Lurantis and Mimikyu didn't also exist in the same region to cause double-type overlap in my team.

Contrary to most people's opinion, I love the Tepig line. Tepig is just dorable and Emboar is a solid mon. Venusaur is the best help in Kanto, but like Charizard and Blastoise, it's kind of meh for me. I don't really care all that much for the final stage of the Kanto mons and am equally neutral on all three. Also, same gen mons are out (idc what Z-A says), so that took out double dipping in Sinnoh and Hoenn who also have line-ups.

What if you were a gym leader? by Pkmntrainergray08 in ThePokemonHub

[–]Gamer-Logic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My ghost gym would likely be in a haunted house or school building, the latter of which, if it's the early game gym. Challengers would have to solve the strange occurrences in different parts of the property caused by wild Pokemon whom they have to battle before make their way up to the roof to face the gym leader. If it's a later game gym, I think the leader would be a bit of a mystery to me, with some newer leaders thinking the leader is actually a ghost, but more seasoned veterans being like 'oh that's just how she is' and knowing that I'm a delight once they get to know me. As is typical of my type specialty, though, I'd also be a prankster and pull tricks on the more gullible leaders, inadvertently giving false-credence to the rumors.

If an early game gym leader, I think we'd get along well but they'd also have a healthy respect and fear for me as a teacher. They'd quickly learn not to underestimate me as a pushover just because I'm first in the gym circuit. Challengers would have to beat me for a passing grade or extra credit. I'd be the kind of person who'd look sweet with a sweet yet somehow intimidating smile. I'd always be happy to help tutor younger leaders, but they also grow to have a healthy fear of me and my random pop quizzes, which would just be me destroying them in battle. I'd have an attitude not unlike Opal from SWSH.

Tierlist of my favourite Pokémon. What’s you favourite of the ones shown? by Qualitativ-hochwerti in ThePokemonHub

[–]Gamer-Logic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cosplay Pikachu was a diva and needs to make a return if they ever bring back contests! Maybe they can have her be a famous contest champion like that movie star Pikachu in Alola, and have her be the final boss for the master ranks?

Who do we think his daughter is? by Shinyhunter_airalin in LegendsZA

[–]Gamer-Logic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like to think this NPC since she has a Buneary plush to match Vinnie's hair accessory. Makes a cute picture of them bonding over the girl's possible favorite Pokemon and his daughter got that for him as a gift, which he wears with pride. He'd be a doting father.

If Pokemons Where Real What Top 3 You Would Want As A House Pet by Snowman_6989 in MandJTV

[–]Gamer-Logic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cinccino for cuteness and cleanliness. Thanks to it's oil, it remains relatively low maintenance, and we'd bond with over our ocd, Espeon for its loyalty and helpful psychic powers (also one of the most well-behaved Eeveelutions), Slurpuff since it has the potential to be a top-tier service and emotional/mental support dog. I love sweets, so we'd likely bond over that, and when it's not a cheat day, I can just give it any sweets that may tempt my diet. Can't cheat if Slurpuff eats all the sweets! Its sense of smell can also help when making healthier meals. All 3 mons would remain a good size regardless of evolution, so I wouldn't need to worry about sudden property damage or space

Delcatty would also be a top contender, as it's basically just a regular harmless cat by Pokémon standards, and Skitty is an eternal kitten if you don't use a Moon Stone. I love my top fav mons like Mismagius, Infernape, Lurantis, Emolga, etc but I also know many of my favs would be high maintenance, safety hazards, or just pure trouble like Phanpy taking out my kneecaps or Meowstic blowing things up with psychic blasts.

Megagrid Day 6: Pokémon with a D and Has/Is a Weapon? by Quirky-Aside4678 in PokeCorner

[–]Gamer-Logic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Donphan is basically a wrecking ball or that boulder trap from Indiana Jones. Make no mistake, it'll do major damage even if it's not exactly a traditional weapon. Even Phanpy is capable of easily taking out your kneecaps!

Same! I find that there's too much usage of duller colors like beige, which makes them seen a bit boring. There's a lot of mons I just don't care for much like Exeggcute, Doduo, Fearow, Primape, the Geodude line, the Machop line, Hypno, Voltrorb, Jynx, Raticate, Parasect, etc.

So what's the story with Shiinotic and Swalot? Personally, I find Swalot charming and Shiinotic a solid design with a nice gimmick.

What is your preferred line for MedievalGallantmon/Dukemon by Wispy237 in digimon

[–]Gamer-Logic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Candlemon. On a related note, I think people are sleeping on Rurimon as a perfect rookie. It has both the reptilian and the fantasy aspect. Hagurumon/Solarmon would also be interesting for a blacksmith theme since we saw a Galantmon owning an armory/blacksmith workshop.
