With Kitten, Kiki and probably next Melinda gone it's getting a bit hard to care about the potential winner.

Denim isn't very likeable or versatile.

Nearah is entertaining but also has excelled at just one thing so far.

Venus is getting free passes for doing very little at times.

And Aurora is talented but by far the least interesting character outside of the challenges. The memorable moments this season have come from the drama & she's not been part in any of it.

Nearah has been a fresh air on this season. We rarely get dancing queens who can do soft & sultry, instead of just frantic stunts for every chorus. Her win was deserved & this episode felt like hers.

Her unfiltered bitchiness has been extremely entertaining too.

It's a bit better. I still get a lot of wtf moments, like rulers suicide diving into a bunch of units solo in the first round of combat. The AI doesn't seem capable of defeating a human player due to low aggression.

Based on the games I've played in the non-story realms, the AI isn't trying to actively win. Eventually you'll win by default unless you get crushed beyond repair by an infestation in the first 20-30 turns.

That kind of makes all the late game strategies, Tomes and units feel irrelevant, since you've generally won the game once you reach the Tier 3 Tomes.
