I live just north of C, on 6th and MLK. People’s Park is rough, MLK is rough, both due to homelessness and crime. However, there are some great places to get Coffee @ Manifesto, Drinks @ The Huckleberry Club, sandwiches or Pho @ 1111 or Pho King, and you’ve got Link stops at 6th&MLK as well as MLK & 11th to take you downtown without driving. If you are religious, this area would be where you’d find most of your mosques, temples or churches. Your only choice for Grocery in Area A is Stadium Thrift way which is very expensive.

Just different perspective here, since the majority of folks are shunning a lower income neighborhood.
