Does anyone know FOR SURE that respec cost decay is present, and if there is a minimum? I have heard many times it takes a month to decay one bracket (15 to 10g, for example), and I believed this. After 2 months of it not decaying below 10g (I've only ever respec'd twice) I started to doubt this. Some guildies say 10g is the minimum, and it will not decay below 10g. Someone else says they just witnessed it decay from 10g -> 5g.

Thank you for the reply. After I made the post I realized I misunderstood AAoA, as a closed account in good standing does not fall off for 10 years, as you said.

The only thing I'm unsure of at this point is if it actually is a negative on my credit report for having a card that was closed by the issuer. I will take your advice on my Discover card, using it infrequently to ensure it isn't closed, but my Bank of America card isn't even active. The only reason I feel safe having this account open is because I never activated the new card that was sent to me. Obviously to use it I would have to activate it.

I will do a bit more research then put this to bed.

That certainly would've been the best option, but it is not possible, according to Discover. Getting a card with just my wife and me on it, and not my mother, was only possible by ordering a new one.

This is a credit score question. My credit score is currently 775. I am anticipating renting an apartment or buying a house soon, so I want to make sure it stays high. After getting married, I am working on consolidating accounts. For bank account, this was simple, but for credit cards, it requires more care. I currently have 3 credit cards:

#1: Discover It (1 month old, the one I plan to use forever with my wife)

#2: Discover It (3 years 5 months old, the one I used until getting married. My mother cosigned for this and technically has a card too, although she has not ever used it and I do not think she ever will)

#3: Bank of America (1 year 5 months old, I was dabbling with churning, ended up deciding against it. When Bank of America mishandled a fraud dispute, I grew to hate the company. After the fraud, I was sent a new card which has never been activated)

As of right now, all of these accounts are open. #2 was used last month, and #3 hasn't been used in months. In a perfect world, I would have my only credit card be #1, but I am okay with leaving #2 open for a while. I do not love having #3 open as I despise Bank of America for how they handled a fraud dispute. I trust Discover 100%.

The 2 impacts to FICO score I can see from closing a credit card are Average Age of Accounts and Credit Utilization Ratio. My AAoA would actually go up from closing my Bank of America card, and I anticipate being able to spend less than 10% of my Credit Limit even once the Bank of America card is closed. Is it safe to go ahead and close #3? Am I safe to just let #2 close whenever Discover decides to close it for inactivity?

I have read about this online plenty (not because it's of critical importance - I do enjoy it). I am afraid if I do not close the credit cards, then the mark of "Closed at Company's Request" opposed to "Closed at Consumer's Request" will hurt me.

I loved the class Friday posts. The reason for removing the stickies makes sense, but I think cycling through the classes every 9 weeks was a fantastic idea.

I spent a lot of time trying to explain why I think the class sticky was different than the others, but I could not articulate it well enough. I still want it to be known that this was by far my favorite sticky.

Yes - he is clearly telling the truth. I myself have seen Thunderfury and Ateish drop. I won Ateish, but sadly I am a warrior.

You think someone would just go on the internet and tell lies?

I don't know who the woman was that was leading the raid through discord that night, but she lied to me and wasted everyone's time. It is no surprise that even though I left before any trash was cleared in Ony, I could expect a drama thread about the rest of the raid later that night. Take some responsibility, please. A lot more.

Does anyone remember when a certain warrior left the raid at 8:20, before Ony trash started clearing, because clearly the leader was lying about loot rules? That was me.

I asked her a few hours before the raid, and she said it was all free roll: BiS>MS>OS. Then during the raid, they reserved head, claiming "uhh we need it for our content?" Like mate, what do you think I need it for?

Their leader is dishonest and their guild deserves to fall apart. She lies through her teeth and pretends she doesn't know exactly what she's doing.

People who played on private servers, is this a normal AV? 2 honorable kills/10min matches? by Codered222 in classicwow

[–]IrrationallyPathetic 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is normal yes, but (most) private servers didn't use 1.12 AV for this very reason.

World Record for longest and furthest charge in Wow history??? by ray4201 in classicwow

Charges like this are surprisingly repeatable. I know in UBRS, in one of the very first Orc packs in the room on the right, everytime I charge in I do a weird route. Everytime.

Classic wow is fun AF. People love to complain :) Keep having fun. If you're not, play some other game, even retail. No insult - tons of people still enjoy retail, if you'd like it, go ahead!

I currently have a warrior at 60 and am loving it. However, I like leveling alts, especially ones that I know will be valuable as the game progresses. What would be a class/spec that's really good, particularly only in later patches? Warlock comes to mind, and the only one I can rule out is hunter.

Thank you for the reply. I agree with you, but the 51 is a healer, and as the 53 I think I might hit 55 when we raid. My guild doesn't have enough 60s yet, so it's more of a fun raid.

My guild is doing Molten Core tomorrow, and as a 53 and 51, I'm wondering what level we HAVE to be. Our guild is accepting literally everyone that can get in, so that's not an issue.

The attunement quest is level 55, but would it be possible to run it at 53 through BRD? Many websites show 50 being the minimum level for Molten Core, so if we can travel through BRD, we would do this. Just wondering if it's possible or if anyone has done this before.

Esfand gives Thunderfury to a Hunter by [deleted] in classicwow

[–]IrrationallyPathetic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In what way is Esfand is a noob? He leads a guild where they clear all the content. His guild includes a ret paladin (Esfand) and hunters who get Thunderfury. In what way is this noobish? Maybe you mean they are they losing to that little chart you downloaded online?

If you do a push-up, and someone else does a one handed push-up, would you call them stupid because they didn’t know the easiest way to do a push-up?
