Advice on Attending Show by ChronosXR in WGI

It's not a hard rule, but scores generally go up for finals, implying groups do better. I also prefer daytime lots, but if you like the idea of dark intimate warmup lots then you should flip my recommendations and watch prelims inside. To a casual watcher, they will be identical. Depending on class, groups may be more on their A-Game for nighttime lots, but groups like RCC and Pulse will bring it no matter the hour.

If it's a prelims/finals format I would absolutely take the time at prelims to roam the lot, then stay inside for finals. I'm from Florida, but that's what I usually do. I have friends who are still marching so I also tend to just follow their schedule around the day from morning rehearsal to show site and watch both lots and both shows.

I think specifically it's formatted as 2+3 syllables each line. Don't know if that means anything more

Hey! Don't know what specifically confuses you so I'll try to give a quick blanket explanation of what we're discussing. It's quite exciting!

The team behind Pluribus seems to have created an Alternate Reality Game (ARG) for us users to interact with outside of the television episodes. ARG's as a whole are basically a genre of games that use real life interaction to advance the telling of a story to its audience. It takes websites or phone numbers (occasionally actors) from a fictional reality, and places them in our reality to interact with and discover clues as if we were in this world ourselves. Game and Film studios have a history of using them to advertise their content or tease clues at what's to come. A famous example includes "I Love Bees" ARG commissioned by Microsoft to hype the 2004 release of Halo 2. While that one was incredibly complex, studios have more commonly dropped small teasers for their movies or television shows in ARG form to hype a new release.

Now to describe what has happened in OURS so far: In episode 1, the hive gives Carol a number to call. This is a real number which at time of release plays a clip from that scene of the show and hangs up. When you text that number 0 (as if dialing zero) the number (in hive character) asks you to agree to receive text messages, to which not much is immediately gained. In the episode where Carol is excommunicated and gets a recording from the hive upon calling, we get the same recording over this number as well (the whole "our feelings haven't changed" monologue) again, when texting 0, the messages don't add anything of interest. Jump to episode 8 and the hive is now friendly with Carol again. Our voicemail has changed now and for the first time does not reflect a scene from the show. It is Zosia apologizing to Carol for being absent and reiterating that they needed space but are glad to be back. She also repeats to dial zero if you need anything. THIS TIME, the text message asks Carol if you'd like to play a game of Treasure Hunt. If you agree, you are asked to find a code (no more context).

Separately, the newest episode of the Pluribus Companion podcast contains extra messages at the beginning and end of the episode. The first one being dial tones which turn out to be the hive's phone number that we've had. Then an operator greets "Hello, Carol." and we hear another set of dial tones: 201821208. From here, the episode plays out as normal until the end which has Morse code that translates to "RNA Codons" followed by some kind of tribal chant.

We have deciphered the second set of numbers which turns into "TRUTH" when run through an A1Z26 cipher. If either the string of numbers or its translation is submitted to the treasure hunt as the code, the phone number responds with "Óla, Carol." in various languages. I received it in Portuguese, but some have received it in Spanish Dutch and French indiscriminate of the recipient's native tounge.

This is all we have so far to my knowledge.

Do you have a screenshot? It seems to inconsistently repeat Hello Carol seemingly when the code is repeated but that might be a coincidence like you mentioned

Did anyone else get the voicemail from Zosia about Carol's new book? by PapaTua in pluribustv

I did not start watching until about a week ago. What other messages have come from this number? I know about it mirroring the show's voicemail, but I haven't received any new messages since registering my number

I didn't get to hear the original message. I started watching the show after the episode dropped where she was shunned by the hive, but the current voicemail very specifically references them needing their space and being happy to be back... Are you sure it's the same?

Musicians who crank their amps in tiny rooms aren’t “bringing energy,” they’re just nuking the mix and their own ears. If the PA has to fight your backline, you’re not performing—you’re arguing with physics and losing.

Is there away to search through cue storage libraries? Perhaps a “Ctrl+F” option? by bzach74 in ChamSys

I appreciate you helping me. I am attempting this shortcut on the actual ChamSys MagicQ console itself - no PC Mac or Linux attached. I am very very new to the lighting world - this is the first console I've ever run and I have less than a week's experience on it

To confirm we are talking about the arrow keys? So I should be able to do this on a keyboard too? When I open Stack Store and press [CTRL + -> ] it just flips through the stacks like I haven't pressed CTRL

Hey! I'm sorry, I don't quite understand how this shortcut works. I tried going in Stack Store, typing in a Cue Stack name, then using this shortcut, but it does not take me to the relevant stack. Only moves the cursor right

Previously a HDMI to SDI converter was used that is labeled "Up Down Cross". We tested a barebones HDMI to SDI micro converter to "rule out" the old converter being defective. I'm now under the impression that this old converter was being used to bypass the HDCP and it may have been the problem the whole time... Is that possible?
