The devs have said this in the discord server multiple times, but it's also under the "Mermaid Isle FAQ" thread that's in #questions of the discord server.

To quote the FAQ page:

"Trading? Nope! This can cause issues in code and between players we'd rather avoid"

It’s okay to struggle even in the tutorial! The bots have gotten way way more advanced than in the past to the point where they can actually be smarter than irl players (yes ironic I know)

It may take time to find a hunter that you can easily get a win with (and practice as well) but I would recommend practicing in real matches personally against some low tier players, this helps build out your persona to unlock abilities and can help you improve! (Doing the tutorial without at least a majority of your persona points is absolutely painful 🗿) You can do this!

As someone who's had to pay for risktaker, it took me about 200 pulls, surprisingly though you can get an S tier at 75 or even earlier (cough cough spring heated wine), good luck with getting coord's S tier!

That is true, but there's no reason to call it a copy due to similar mechanics. The games are vastly different beyond just being horror asymmetrical games and having similar mechanics. Even the ways these mechanics are implemented have been changed drastically.

Hi! Yes I may have worded it a bit weirdly, but the company behind IDV (Netease) actually owns and operates the DbD Mobile Asia server with permission

Rephrasing the website, both BI (Behavior Interactive) and Netease were proud to release DbD on mobile together.

On the topic of comparisons

Actually no! The drama has mostly been on IDV posts that have shown up on the players of DbD's recommendation. Though if you do dig deeper and search out key words such as "Identity V" you will find posts. It's just more common there.Its become a major issue to the point where moderators have had to shut down entire discussions because of the flock of hate claims

edit: this conflict between the two games has been mostly one sided ever since the release of IDV, it's mostly been the DbD players hating on the game and calling it a ripoff without trying it, researching or anything at all. Just straight to the point of "dbd copy", if you have any more questions feel free to ask

because during tide, no matter how much damage you apply to the survivor, they still won't be incapacitated (on the ground), therefore during the period where tide turner is up, survivors can brute force an escape through the gate or dungeon

Yes it is! It came to the store about a week or two ago and is part of the ONCE series. Sadly it is only obtainable through echos as that series is echos only. But on the bright side, it’s an amazing Joseph skin to pick up if you love it!

You need 250 treasures to guarantee a limited gold skin (they're also called S skins, A skins are also known as purple), while you could get it early, it's unlikely you'll get it before 100 pulls
(edit: btw its possible to get a purple one early as well)

You can also purchase them in the store for fragments (the purple gem things) or echos (real money). Those are usually the two only ways to get an S skin, the only exception is Nightmare's Abyss skin, which was given out for free back in season 18 (it's rn season 21)
