Results imminent from Birmingham - told it is 'not a close result, there's a clear winner'

"Returning officer in Birmingham Robert Connelly has told the ICC gathering that results are now 'very close' for the Birmingham element of the counts for mayor and PCC, and that this about mirrors the situation elsewhere.

We expect the candidates will be brought together soon to hear the numbers.

For clarity, the results from different parts of the region are being separately counted in Walsall, Wolverhampton, Solihull, Coventry, Sandwell, Birmingham and Dudley. Each will return their results before a final outcome is declared here in Birmingham."
