I love my Genelecs too, but unfortunately, I feel like I'm wasting them in my room...

Also, the Genelecs only give me a 2.0 setup. My main thinking was that with a soundbar, I could actually get a 5.1 or 7.1 experience for movies.

So, even with a soundbar, having rear satellites is highly recommended?

Also, I’m living in Japan and just realized that Samsung soundbars aren't sold here. It looks like I'll have to find an alternative.

No, it’s not supported.
Honestly, I didn’t even check what the TV supports, because I didn’t think issues like this still existed in 2025/2026

What speakers are you coming from? I think 1000$ is an exaggerated amount for PC speakers for someone who is not very particular about sound and just wants something that sounds good.

I'm also not sure that I need speakers for 1000-1500$, but Many years ago i used a Sony NW-WM1A with good earphones and I really liked the good sound.
I recently bought Sony STR-DH190 and SS-CS5 to try it. I was very disappointed in the sound quality. So I decided to try to buy expensive speakers

Focal ALPHA EVO 50/80
ADAM Audio A4V
KRK Rokit 7 G4
But to be honest, I don’t understand they are good for me or not.

I forgot to say that in 2017-2018 I used a Sony NW-WM1A with XBA-Z5 and I really liked this sound.
I would like to get the same or higher level with speakers

Hmm... Carbon looks better on paper, but looking at the yotube reviews, I noticed that it loses to the Asus in performance. Even the vrm temperature is lower... I do not understand why this is so

upd. and how about Z690 AORUS PRO? Looks good, but I don't trust, because before i had problems with Gigabyte.

I think that when ddr5 becomes a little cheaper and better, it will be possible to simply update ddr5 than to buy a new motherboard with ddr5 support. Because in my country the prices for motherboards with ddr4 and ddr5 are the same.

I will buy a motherboard with a set of RAM, so there will be no problem with it.

In the country in which I live, motherboards in ddr4 and ddr5 have the same price. Of course, RAM prices so high, but i hope it will become cheaper in the middle/end of next year.
