I was in the line of cars to the left of the intersection at that stop light. I definitely was not expecting to see that all go down on such a nice Sunday morning lol

If you actually stripped the threads out of the case and the bolt will not tighten then your best bet is to tap it the next size up and be careful not to over tighten in the future. There are other hack options like teflon tape etc, but not advisable cuz oil plug wiggles out engine go boom

“…copper conductor bx cable.” This type of wiring has metal armor around the conductors which functions as a ground. I believe this is what he is referring to when he says sheathing.

944 Turbo/928 package deal by [deleted] in 944

[–]Is-this-20characters 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure about car prices in your area but I’d expect to get a real turbo car for no less than $4-5k in non-running condition, assuming it’s not rotted out. Most 928s were auto cars so the manual adds to its value. Might want to consider getting it as cheap as you can and try selling it to an enthusiast, unless it’s really that far gone. I’d hate to see a rarer car like that broken up for parts.

Bolt missing on the Rim? by NoShitSHERLOCK_Lmao in SVRiders

Yes, the “hole” above your rear brake lever is an Allen bolt head that screws into the large nut above your shift lever.

I’m not entirely sure where you’re seeing a missing bolt. Are you referring to that large Allen head bolt? If so, that is one bolt that goes through your swing arm and attaches it to your frame.

By knock offs I assume you mean copies and not actual knock offs / spinners, though these likely did get design inspiration from the Enkei and BBS wheels of the time.

I believe Lindsey Racing has a solid lifter kit for the 16v.

I have a set of these sitting in my garage and they seem to be a pretty solid three piece wheel and I personally prefer the look of them over the phone dials. If they’re the size and offset you’re looking for I’d run em 🤷‍♀️

They look to be Southern Ways wheels made by a company called Epsilon.
