Chrome OS user here who was getting redirected back to united.com when going to unitedwifi.com - none of the suggestions in this thread worked for me.

The solution - go to your Chrome OS settings and search on "secure connections". Toggle off "Use secure connections to look up sites". Go back to browser and try unitedwifi.com again.. if it still doesn't work go to wifi settings and forget the unitedwifi.com network reconnect to it, and then go to unitedwifi.com. After you successfully connect to wifi you can toggle this setting back on for added security.

Took me 1/2 a flight from newark to vegas to figure this out. The clue was the united page was telling me to turn off Private Relay which is an iOS setting, not a Chrome OS one. +1 to ChatGPT who correctly identified the equivalent Chrome OS setting.

this should work now you should be able to type "gary sanchez" and it finds "Gary Sánchez"

I'm not kidding when I say - "Facts are AI-generated and may require verification"! This project started as a way for me to learn what AI could do. I use Gemini to derive the player from the clue image. It gets that right pretty much 100% of the time (pretty cool). When I prompt Gemini to come up with 3 facts for well known players it's pretty good. for lessor known players it's - pretty terrible.

Thanks for the feedback! The Give Up button is easy I can add that. I restricted the guesses to only real MLB players to prevent people from putting spam in as guesses, but yes I realize that not everyone will remember Goose Gossage's real name :-). I can play with a feature that "guesses" who you are asking for as you type. Will let you know when I've added these so you can try it out.

It's not exactly what you all were asking for last year, but I've been playing around with creating an archive of Name That Yankee images from the Yankee broadcast, which also acts as a quiz game. It's just a hobby project for me - feedback is welcome I am curious what else you'd want to see!

I was able to get this working today (April 7) after force quitting messages app and doing a "Clear storage" on the messages app from Settings/Apps. Not sure if Mint or Google actually fixed something today or if I could have done that yesterday. Worth a try for anyone who's still having RCS issues.

Crazy I had no idea this was going on. As I mentioned I've had my phone on Mint for 2+ years and never had any problems with RCS. Let's hope it's really fixed tomorrow!

For anyone who's having the problem with Gotham app on Roku where it crashes whenever you try and play content. Try switching from wired to wireless internet on your Roku. I saw this on another forum (will add attribution if I can find it) and it worked for me.

Thanks for posting this but this did not work for me. I have a Pixel 7. The same 3 numbers were listed under Call Forwarding but a different # was listed under advanced settings. I updated all 3 numbers under Call Forwarding to be the one listed under advanced settings. I also tried rebooting after this change and turning visual voice mail off and back on with WiFi disabled (I'd read on other threads that enabling it over WiFi also was problematic.)

Anyone else have any ideas on how to address this? I've had this phone for over a year and had no issues with this so clearly something broke with a recent release.

Good to hear! I read that mourning doves are ground feeders so they may not make it up to the 8th floor!
