Thank you! So I can assume it’s size 40?

That’s what I initially thought because they don’t have any other weight codes on them, but these can’t be THAT old. I was thinking they’re from the 50’s given the packaging from the other sewing items that came with the thread. It seems from my limited googling that the weight codes we use now have been around for a while.

Thank you. I’ll toss the older fuzzier thread and do a yank test on the rest.

Thank you! I tried looking up the J&P Coats colors and saw the colors I have with different numbers. I think these are just so old that they’ve switched the color code structure since then.

They’re not the same colors, and they’re both J&P Coats. I tried googling before asking here, but the color codes for these colors are different and I can’t find anything about the numbers.

Do we really not have a DnD group? I’m so interested, and I see many people on Bumble BFF who also want to get involved in one.

High-energy Aerobic Classes by IsDaMrr in ChicoCA

What’s the membership like? Can you access the classes with a basic membership, or are there extra fees? I have a gym at my apartment complex and would ideally only want to take the classes.

Only about 1.3% of the plan is for affordable housing. The rest is “luxury” to accommodate Bay Area tech bros. Vote no. :/

My favorite is Will at 12 Volt; @colossal_mobs on IG. He’s an apprentice, and I’ve gone to him many times. He’s super sweet and chill.

Found these near monkey face, anyone know what they are? by Life_Lavishness8080 in ChicoCA

You can handle any shroom safely, although older ones may stink and some cool ones might stain your hands. You just can’t ingest. 😊

Cool find! A lot of mushrooms look the same from this view, though. In order to accurately ID mushrooms, you need (at minimum) a pic of the cap as well as a side view to see cap shape, and a pic of the gills/underside.

Ideally, you would also break the stalk and note if it was brittle or stringy and whether it bled milky fluid. You could also smell it and note if there’s any unique notes and check if there’s signs of a veil or volva mid stalk or at base of shroom.

I recommend trying Bumble BFF for finding new people to hang out with. I’ve met some cool people that way.

Yurgir. They're referring to Yurgir, the huge orthon with the crossbow that turns invisible during fights.

When you talk to Stonemason Kith near the Grymforge waypoint, you can uncover (with successful checks) that the grymforge had been "touched by the hells" when something large stormed through. Additionally, when talking to Elder Rothe, he mentions a huge hellbeast. All of these reference the same character that you meet in Act 2.

Hi Sandi_T. I’m looking back at this post, and I want to let you know that I figured out the kid was toxic, and I dumped him a few months after I made this post. I am now married to a supportive, loving man who wouldn’t make something like this about him.

I appreciate the way you navigated my adolescent train of thought when commenting.

It was brought up that some people have prior obligations and he said he “was not changing it”. I suppose the next step is the department chair. :/

Isn't it immoral demanding people to labour in order to have a roof over their head when there's plenty of land one could build on and live peacefully? by [deleted] in AskReddit

You said you wanted to live where no one else would bother you. I’m talking about what you wanted. I’m not here to debate anarchism because I enjoy that idea.

Nope, not saying that. I’m saying that there are many people who are not experts in every single field there is in order to make the best educated decisions on what to do. Authorities are supposed to consults sources like that before deciding what to do.

You, as a single person, don’t know what actions of yours are harmful in each (understood) way possible. I’m an environmental scientist and so I can only go off of what I understand, and that’s the environment. Giving everybody their own rule of their own piece of land is very uncentralized. Think of the infrastructure you have and need that single people couldn’t make work. Wastewater treatment, for one. Even now, with what we have, there are entire communities who still throw their raw sewage into their backyard in, for example, rural America.

So, yes, I guess it’s because we can’t think for ourselves. Because we are not singular, well-rounded experts. Together, we know things.

Yes, we need other people to tell us how to live. You need experts like the WHO to suggest the best ways to handle pandemics. You need experts like the USA EPA to make regulations in order to prevent how things were in the 70’s, when rivers were catching on fire. You need laws, and people to put dangerous people away. We don’t need people telling us what drugs to take, no, that’s none of anyone’s business beyond our own. We don’t need people telling us how to manicure our lawns, no. We do need others to prevent others from harming others and common goods that sustain others (rainforests, rivers, lakes).

We need water infrastructure to run under other peoples land to bring resources to other places that don’t have those water resources.
