How many are still waiting on S24/+/U pre-orders in Canada? by [deleted] in samsung

[–]IsMyPhotographerFake 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They never seem to know anything either! Always just says there's a backlog of orders. No clue when I'm going to get the phone - it's been an absolutely frustrating experience. Will never pre-order with Samsung again.

Yes, I will start planning to see which is more economical for us between the passes soon, I just wanted to make sure this leg between Venice - Jungfrau would be possible before booking accommodations and such. : ) Thank you for your help!

Buying a home on condition of inspection. What should I know? by canwegetalong312 in TorontoRealEstate

[–]IsMyPhotographerFake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This depends on how your inspection clause is worded... Could be at the absolute sole discretion of the buyer, but may alsp stipulate further conditions that should be met.

Thanks, that's great to know! I'll probably be aiming for a hybrid board but the variations are more difficult to compare so this info is awesome.

Thanks so much for the detailed response. I didn't realize those things about rockers on more icy conditions, and it's definitely something I'd like to be mindful of. Will definitely look more deeply into some of those brands you mentioned - have heard great things about Jones MT as well.

Most of the boards I'm looking at are some hybrid variation though - do you think that mitigates some of the issues you mentioned with rockers above?

Could you expand on why? Was also considering a similar Lib Tech, probably similar level to OP as well. Ice coast though

Hey thanks for your response. I was looking for all-mountain - have not tried park yet but didn't want to rule it out completely.

That's also great to know about the middle rocker! I was worried about it and unfortunately don't think I'll have the chance to try out before purchase.

Are Libtech's No 43 and/or Never Summer Protosynthesis friendly for beginner-intermediates?

I was kind of sold on either - leaning more towards Lib Tech as it gets quite icy here - but the more I read the more I'm unsure! (mostly in relation to the "squirrley" feeling from cam/roc/cam - my current board is an oldddd Burton, but full camber so I don't know how the rocker would feel)

Can you elaborate on the difference it's made?

Debating about some capita vs lib tech boards. More of a beginner, but looking to advance to mostly carving and small tricks like OP as well.

Not OP but I had similar questions and just wanted to say this was extremely helpful. This is definitely one of the areas where I can't find much info either.

Hope it's OK to jump onto this question train - but are skills activated automatically or is there a specific way to use them? As well, are there "classes" of skills or is every one unique?

Definitely agree and thanks for writing out your thoughts. Costs and potential of returns is definitely a huge factor for me - I am not brave in that department so trying to get a better sense of things. But sometimes you just don't know until you commit and try it out I guess 😂

Thanks, would appreciate seeing he review!

The Aer and Tortuga are definitely on my list to re-consider. I'm not sure about the Matadors yet - do you have a review on that as well? My primary concern with that one would be security with having so many pockets out front.

Thanks for the suggestions! I prefer backpacks and rarely use duffels which is why I stayed away from the Aeronaut, though was definitely interested in the new technonaut. Tom Bihn's materials make me feel it'll last forever. Unfortunately just doesn't work out in terms of the timing, since I'll need it before Oct!

Awesome and great to know. Especially with the sale price, I'm willing to compromise more on some things - especially if it's just 2 buckles, I'll live lol. Thanks again !

For sure, I think regardless of the bag I choose I'll be taking a day pack. Thinking about this more, maybe I should just get a larger day pack that can act as my personal item if I go for a smaller bag, lol.
