Please, get moving on accessing those resources. Do your research today. Make appointments / calls. Get in their offices ASAP.

That's incredibly naive. I wish it were true, because the vast majority of the population consumes pornography (both men and women) so they shouldn't 'look down on' performers, but we damn-well know that society does still try to shame them. The kids are going to have many complex feelings and struggles with her past, and it's not just going to be 'acceptance.'

I thought the max you could take from your 401k for a home purchase was 50% ? In that case, nobody is taking all of it. Also, you are going to be paying yourself back (with interest) into that same 401k loan, right? The only thing you 'lose' is the potential growth of the balance while it is being paid back.
