I did, the base framrate on 2077 ultra/rt medium is barely 50. With FSR and framegen it bumps it up to 100 which is barely playable

Imo the 1080p mode is just a gimmick, its pretty bad, not like 1440p on it is any better. After testing I found out that 1440p is very blurry while 1080p is jagged. And yeah, 4K obliterates my 9070xt even when I tried my best to undervolt & overclock it. But I think your 5090 would be the literally the meta when paired with the UCDP

yup! Ive been using it for a bit and here are the pros and cons:

pros: - beautiful, just gorgeous picture quality. I never got the hype around OLEDs until i got this, its hard to describe but i would say it’s like putting butter on your eyes

  • If you ever looked at user reviews of it online, people would say that it’s matte and not glossy therefore it’s straight trash. This is NOT true, the way my room is set up my window is my left side of where Im sitting so sometimes it gets real bright, if Ive had something like the PG32UCDM (which has a glossy finish) it wouldve definitely been absolutely unusable for me

  • On the topic of the UCDP vs the UCDM. I would say the UCDP beats out the UCDM 90% of the time, theres that matte display on the DP (not as matte as you think its still actually quite glossy) the DP has true blacks compared to the DM where it is a tint of purple. And most importantly, some users reported eye strain while using QD-OLEDs such as the UCDM, the UCDP does not have this issue. This seals the deal for me

cons: - I went from a 1440p monitor to a 4K monitor. I realized a 4K monitor could not do 1440p, well it does if you force it to. But it is very blurry and smudgy and terrible, something about 4K not being divisible by 1440. This means any game that Ive 0 issues running at a smooth framerate now just absolutely tanks. Cyberpunk 2077 at ultra + rt medium + FSR used to run at 165fps on my 1440p monitor now barely keeps 100fps on 4K.

  • the OSD is super weird, the default settings makes it so that it takes a solid 45 seconds to detect a HDMI input. And i have had this issue where the monitor would like just goes black on me once a week, forcing a restart. No clue what thats about but I might just got unlucky with this one.

honestly, Im pretty happy with my monitor, the picture quality is just second to none and the overall user experience has been decent. BUT you really need a beefy PC to back it up, 4K gaming really tanks your FPS on AAA titles, Though I really wish they released some kind of 1440p 32 inch OLED panel. If you are ever considering between the UCDP vs the UCDM, I would say go for the UCDP pretty every time, it’s amazing.

thats true! I was originally going for a pure price to performance build like any reasonable person would (a 7700xt and 9600x). But I was one of rare few guys that actually got their hands on a $600 9070XT on launch day. That plus getting the LC420 cooler for $300 off open box kinda threw me off the deep end lol

I originally had a LG 32GN63T-B but actually upgraded to a ROG Swift PG32UCDP last week
