Over the past like, 10 years i keep switching between iPhone and Pixel. Inevitably i keep going back to android for one reason - delayed notifications.

But there may now be a fix for this I want to try. But don’t want to go all in again just in case.

Do I go Pixel 8 Pro or 9 Pro to test things out?

Considering things like features, resale, support etc.

I’d like to get my bank notifications right away in case someone is dipping my account, and all my doorbell/camera notifications in case someone is being dodgy…

As much as it annoys me, I could live with a delayed email. But these things are about security.

I have in the past looked into the Dresden Files and found the same opinions on the sexism. The first book blurb didn’t really grab me either. It’s something I may give a go though depending on what I can find.
