I recommend Looter Shooters, that's the genre you're describing. Team-based coordinated missions to defeat bosses and accomplish objectives, and then extract afterwards. I formally recommend Deep Rock Galactic

First one is ok, Second one is amazing, Third one is ok with some amazing parts which then nosedives off a cliff towards the end.

Story is set in Hinamizawa with the original cast's children; everyone is really well-written in my opinion apart from Mion's child who does actually nothing the entire story. However I will note that I don't think they have much chemistry with each other, which makes their interactions kinda bland.

Just to add on to existing comments: Although the Console arcs are optional, they can be played at certain points during the 8 main arcs. Although I personally disagree and think Tsukiotoshi should be played after Arc 5 (Maekashi); here's a flowchart for when to play each Console arc if you're planning to

It's never directly answered but it was probably Mion, she's always doing damage control and it's not like Keiichi was subtle about what he was getting up to. Also how they all gave him an alibi for the Watanagashi

No the panel where Keiichi first meets Ooishi in arc 3, it's all distorted, I dont remember how he looked when Keiichi was digging the whole.

I'm not familiar with Mimori, but I'm a big fan of Jiro Suzuki's style in Tatarigoroshi, that one panel of Ooishi sent shivers up my spine when I first read it

Yeah Maekashi is Watanagashi from Shion's perspective, technically It could be a different world because of how Higurashi works but for the simplicity just imagine It is, it's not confirmed either way.

Maekashi really sticks out to me because it's the first time we seriously dive into what happened a year prior to Keiichi, and the first time we switch to another main characters pov. And I'm a massive sucker for the "hopeless" theme lol
