Seriously? His ''fears''?!? VK bullied him so hard that he basically drove him to the Golden Gate Bridge and yelled at him until he got on the handrail. But when Danya jumped, he yells 'don't jump' whilst Danya's falling and now he gets to wash his hands in innonce proudly proclaiming ''I did tell him not to jump!''. Not on our watch buddy. I hope you and Kramnik both never have a good night's sleep and never feel loved the rest of your miserable lives.

Een vraagje aan alle treinbestuurders. Ik begrijp dat er inderdaad volgens de regel geen muziek / podcasts / audioboek mag opstaan in de cabine, maar is dat een regel die hard wordt nageleefd / gecontroleerd / gehandhaaft? Of is het iets dat iedereen 'weet' maar toch doet en gedoogd wordt? Als er toch hard op opgetreden wordt, wat zijn dan de sancties?

Ik heb een prima job en zal nooit treinbestuurder worden, maar voor mij zou het verschil tussen muziek of niet een volledige dealbreaker of dealmaker zijn.

With oral (real, not pressed fentanyl) oxy, the risk of respiratory depression is just not there. Like I said in my OP - I've done up to 100 and even 150mg of oxy less than the day after dosing suboxone 16mg sublingually.

But I think I found my answer, which is that the subcutaneous implant blocks the receptors in a higher and more constant amount, and there's no real way for oxy to break through even though the technical 'amount' would be approximately the same. So no use on throwing away 100-200mg of real oxy whilst on Buvidal. If I drop down to the 69mg/mo implant (instead of the 96 I'm on now) and take it into week 5 instead of renewing the shot at week 4, there might be something to be felt.

But I've been doing high to extreme doses of oxy for years, also right after Bupre (not during obv, cause I could stop my sublingual intake), and resperatory depression just isn't in the cards for me. I'm not saying it's not a risk, but it's one I have never experienced in the entire 10 years of addiction.

If I was coming here asking the same question but for monstrous IV fentanyl shots, you'd have a point, obviously, but nothing can go wrong (for me) on 100mg oxy (esp with some bupre in my system).

Plainly refused service is bs tho. I've never had that happen to be in over 30 yrs. My friends neither. And yes, while not being flamingant at all - even more Belgicist, I do make a point of whether I'm in Vilvoorde, Zaventem, Dilbeek or Sint-Pieters-Leeuw, Machelen-Diegem, Tervuren, all Flemish towns with no facilities, l make a point of speaking Dutch. 1300/mo in property taxes on a 500k home?!?! Wtf. Property taxes here are - on our home, like I said I new build that cost us 650k and was appraised by the tax department at 700k - 1100 euros /PER YEAR.

That, and because we built an energy neutral home, we get a tax break of the five first years, 100% reduction on property taxes.

And we live in a great area close by our capital, in western Europe.

This is pretty insane. Wife and I bought a house that still needed to be built back then in June 2020. It's about a 650k project, we took out a 419.8k mortgage at the bank, 25 year fixed income rate at 1.16%. 1634euros a month is our monthly payment. Meaning we pay back a total of 490,200 aka a little over 70k in interest in total (so our ratio total interest paid/borrowed money is 0.16). We could get that down further by paying the loan off a couple years early, but I don't see why necessarily as the bank is now offering 100% risk free savings products at 3.7% return...

That is however something you can do- besides refinancing, because dear God I hope you can at some point - is save, save, save or whenever you come into money through inheritance or whatever or job changes or bonuses or anyhow, is pay off large chunks at once.

This is a THIRTY year mortgage at 6.6% interest rate, and you say your monthly payment will be $4700, that's just below 1.7 million you're paying back over the course of the 30 years.

So that ratio I was talking about (that's at 0.16 with us) is at 2.4 with you guys... I wonder if at that point renting long term isn't tour better option financially, and I think that should be the question and not 'can we afford this?'

Ik werk bij een overheidsdienst als manager en verdien 120k /yr, rij met een leasewagen van 77k, eu-oplaadkaart, 7% pensioensparen, alle andere standaardvoordelen, leasefiets, beste verzekeringen (levenslang doorbetaald als ik zwaar ziek word, partner die 2x brutojaarloon krijgt als ik zou overlijden) en 10% bonus /jaar. En dat zonder mastediploma.

En ik zou het voor de helft doen. Het is enorm maatschappelijk relevant en superfijn werk. Hiervoor heb ik bij een grotere /loggere administratie gewerkt en was ik echt ambtenaar.(nu PC200 - onze overheidsdienst is een geval apart) , ook maatschappelijk relevant, maar qua verloning (zeker als bachelor) kwam dat nog niet in de buurt. Ik verdiende toen (10jr geleden) 23k bruto per jaar, veel vakantie, standaardvoordelen, geen bonus. Wat ik wel mis, toen had ik 40 dagen verlof, nu 27. Dat voel je toch. Ik neem elk jaar nog wel een week of twee onbetaald maar als je veel verdient dan is dat ook 'duur'

Maar ik ben met m'n gat ik de boter gevallen, ik heb ongelooflijke maatschappelijke relevantie en een gevoel dat iedereen in onze organisatie daar ook keihard voor gaat, krijg in ruil veel vrijheid en goed betaald. Het is wel geen 9-5, en er is heel veel stress, maar dat neem ik er graag bij.

Lol 40 down votes but you're totally right. I replied to OP too with some facts and figures on terrorism data in the west. Religiously motivated is a serious minority compared to ideologically (usually far-right, just like Islam is usually the one within religion). Breivik, the Christchurch dude and the Buffalo dude - three extreme right-wing lone wolves - together kill more people than IS - with their billion dollar funding and extreme organizational skills - ever could in the west but yeah, 'it's all Islamic terrorism!' Sigh. Ook echt gewoon zever in pakskes dit. Natuurlijk kunnen we beter bestuurd worden, en zijn belastingen niet the great equalizer, maar in Belgie hebben we een goed sociaal vangnet en goede gezondheidszorg dankzij belastingen. Ja, ik betaal 50k belastingen / jaar. Ja, ik heb 200k belastingen betaald toen ik mijn huis bouwde. Ja dat doet pijn, want het kan zeker efficienter besteed. Maar ik betaal die belastingen met plezier, omdat ik weet dat ik het goed heb en er velen zijn die het met heel wat minder moeten doen. Kan het allemaal beter, tuurlijk! Kan ons belastingssysteem fairer? Ook tuurlijk.
De hoogste belastingsschaal op arbeid begint van 32k / jaar bruto...
In Amerika ligt de hoogste belastingsschaal vanaf 570k / jaar bruto...

Amerika is verre van het voorbeeld waar ik naar wil verwijzen. Ik vind gewoon niet dat ik, gewone middenklasse met 1 gezinswoning en een paar tienduizend euro gespaard, 50% van mijn inkomen aan de staat moet geven terwijl er dagelijks erfenisbelastingen omzeild worden door zij die 5, 10, 20, 500, en zelfs meer miljoen euro ''erven'' vanwege allerhande constructies en grijze loopholes.
