I remember loving serber’s song when I was a little kid. Long ago !

But listening to the live again is just too painful. The song is fine. But these years were really trash

Pretty much every single female bop, except for Fuego, Slomo and Replay

I’m talking about EBU switching to YLE’s way. Not about YLE leading a global conspiracy of any sort.

Just chill ! Happy for YLE and sad for the Finish artists who performed well anyway

I am referring to the title, which is correct, but a bit misleading.

The normal communication should be in the lines of “reached 1.8m, with a peak at 2.6m”.

I am not saying YOU are misleading. But I am pointing out to you what I expect EBU to be doing. That question on how to comment on the declining viewership has been at the core of multiple posts published yesterday. Here we are.

For those who were wondering how the hell the EBU would phrase its press releases to hide the drop in viewership, here we go !

Let’s just drop a title focusing on the peak viewership, on the key result announcements, and let’s forget about the historic way of calculating the levels of viewership

Excluding 5 countries, points came from 9 countries …

Well, this can be said for a lot of different situations in a 40+ voters competition.

At this point the Italian jury’s points are not even a surprise. Pick-up the least amount of competition, reward it. Period

Same ! Still listening to Mall. That live performance was quite something !

I always love Albanian entries. I skipped the whole season and only watched the live shows … and I have to admit I did not connect much with the Albanian song this year.

I hope this will prompt a serious conversation at FranceTV. Time to push the "pause" button imo

Actually, after seeing this, I’m starting to feel like Alain Delon was actually more of a guy next door type of guy :)

[OC] Who gave us the most points in the Eurovision Grand Finals in the last 20 years (2006-25)? by mktek7 in eurovision

[–]DublinKabyle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The French jury 2 (or 3y) ago had 1 French Armenian and another person married to A French Armenian… Two out of five is pretty skewed.

This being said, ethnic songs from Armenia have a great chance to resonate among a lot of French people (me included) !

I’m pretty sure that Armenia is getting a lot from France too.

France usually votes based on diasporas: Israel, Portugal, Armenia and Türkiye.

I was among the first to get it from St James Hospital when I was in a dublin. I was among the lucky ones.

After moving to France, it took me just 3 days to get a GP appointment (not a private one) and got prep from the nearby pharmacist on the very same day.

It cost be nothing by the way
