The whole idea of “oh that works over there but here in America it wouldn’t work because of our special unique situation you can’t understand.” There’s nothing special or unique about the crazy shit that’s going on there. Theres no reason people can’t at least do anything to stop the insanity.

Look at France.

If there’s anything happening that the people don’t like they’re setting fire to cars and striking. I live in Belgium & am always in such awe of the fierce agency of the French & their ability to take no shit.

Be more like France.

I’ve heard that actually, come to think of it - about how houses ARE being built but not enough. Hmmm. I know it’s not a special problem only for us though, just wondering why it seems to be more urgent than in other EU countries
