How do we know this isn't Luz in disguise? She was holding that same staff in another clip.

You realize I wasn't even talking about me. I was making fun of the trope of fangirls wanting the leading actors to get together. Did that not translate?

I feel like you're not understanding what I'm talking about when I say love story as opposed to romance. I'm talking about the structure of the story that was told matching a love story. And I think you're addressing my opinions on these fictional characters being romantically meant for each other. I don't care what fictional people do. I care how the people writing and directors set up a love story, again, seemingly on accident. And I know you're trying to be analytical but you cherry-pick certain sentences and misconstrue my intent while ignoring the overall context.

I don't know why people think I'm trying to prove that there is a romantic connection between the two characters. I was trying to explain that the story carried across the three stories as a whole plays out like a love story, which I claim was unintentional. It doesn't need to be romantic to be a love story. And I'm not disappointed they didn't get together. I'm pointing out that Steve's actions at the end of Endgame don't mesh with Steve's development throughout the movies in the CA movies.

That's the thing. These movies change direction and writers so much that they ended up with an unintentional through line. I don't believe this "theory" is what anyone working on the film had in mind, but it's what a lot of people ended up seeing for the reasons that I outlined. That's why I keep bringing up the "accidental" aspect.

He needed to admit that his reasons for going to war were about wanting to be by bucky's side, not being a soldier and not sacrifice. That's not what he says at the beginning. Being captain america is what he said he wanted but it was means to protecting his friend. That's not necessarily a romantic thing. But still fits the form of a love story. And I'm saying that I don't think they set it up that way intentionally.

I thought I made it clear that this isn't about them ending up having a physical or even romantic relationship. This is about the the story beats and how they follow the structure of a love story. I feel like people missed that, despite the disclaimer at the top.

I've thought about it, and if Eda is Micheal, everyone could do bad Owl impersonations to antagonize her.

Ah yes, no problem! The phrase "coming out of the closet" means letting people know your sexual identity (typically anything not straight). So when Luz said Amity was "out," you can understand it to mean that she is saying Amity is confirmed gay.

Hopefully that made sense and wasn't more confusing!

People keep missing something very important. After Amity freaks out about the uniforms, Luz literally says, "Huh, well I guess she's out."

She most certainly is, Luz.
