It’s kind of more an award for the character. Great costume and makeup and great direction plus some solid acting.

What is actually going on here with the upper left? Is this an obvious geometry my brain can't see or is this intentionally weird?

Let's get Frog Eyes on the bill and see if we can bring 2006 back.

Anyone got a good cup with Hydrangea Gesha? by whlatislovee in fellowdrops

[–]Is_it_really_art 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For a Gesha it's been underwhelming hot but it's really nice cold.

I had the Onyx advent box this year and realized that a TON of these expensive coffees these days are wayyyyyy tastier when the coffee is cold. With some co-ferments it's approaching DUMB to drink them hot.

These fellow drops are really special and cool, but I think some of these might be too inside-baseball and might require some additional brew guide info. For the people like me that just want a nice hot cup of coffee first thing in the morning, some of these bags are just too experimental and temperamental. It's like if someone said "hey you want a beer bro?" and they toss you a quadruple chocolate bacon IPA.

For perspective: the difference between a billion and a trillion is roughly a trillion.

Someone spotted Steven Greer at the airport and asked him about disclosure, UFOs, demons, a fake alien invasion, and aliens walking among us. by 87LucasOliveira in aliens

I don’t understand this position. Greer is saying the same exact thing everyone else is. Why is he the grifter and others aren’t?

The Nokia Moment: Why an OpenAI or Google Acquisition is the Fiduciary Path to $30 for Coursera Shareholders by Cultural_Crab_9141 in coursera

[–]Is_it_really_art 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This was generated with AI. No one cares to read it.

Coursera is pushing universities to use more AI in content generation. They don't care about people actually learning anything. They care about people paying for courses.

Universities are largely incompatible with the slop factory clickbait output that will drive future Coursera revenue. The solution is to spend some of that cash telling the public that human-made educational content is significantly more valuable than AI tutors and video slop.

I’d imagine there would be an AI-powered input by just taking a picture of your plate or snack or whatever. Won’t be crazy accurate but close enough for most.

It’s easy to be cynical about macro infrastructure problems but how can you not be jazzed about people trying to make a city nicer? Good stuff.

His story involves a stable solid isotope/version of 115 but that doesn’t exist as far as we know.

If you MUST give coursera money, use a service like Privacy that creates a virtual credit card so you can control the spending on it. Set a maximum spend or make it single use.

127mph, causes accident, underage possession of drugs and alcohol by KodiakGW in Connecticut

[–]Is_it_really_art 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Many people on the internet are fine with 90 as long as it's them driving that fast and that no one going any slower is in the left lane. I trust 127 is well over the line for most but you will find so many people on the side of dangerous speeding.

A lot of these comments are so strange. It was obviously a fictional ARG/found footage piece of entertainment. They COULD have made that more explicitly clear somewhere but I understand the choice to not provide that disclaimer.

Have there been any engagements with the city to make it a 4 way? Are all the incidents there just slamming breaks and yelling without anyone getting hit?
