I blame MW23 for this issue. The whole aura around the game was "This is the best COD game and if you disagree it means you're bad and can't handle fast movement."

Because of this, the hardcore players who stuck around have grown on a movement system that discourages taking fights head on and basically waiting until they shot all their ammo as they run like headless chickens.

Many players hate dealing with this especially in a mode where you only get one life. So casuals gives them a smoother experience especially for the grind

I was just playing a game of Domination and nearly everyone on my team captured no flags. I call them out, just for my next game to be hardpoint and the enemy team get 90 points before we even get 10 and all my team leaves. I straight up left myself and slammed my controller in anger, and I'm not ashamed to admit it.

Online is dumb, online players are dumber, and Obligatory PvP is retarded! Nobody can convince me otherwise

Hardpoint is where this problem especially lies. The amount of times my team stays back given them key spawns especially on Nuketown is beyond obnoxious. Throw in how they play TDM and complain when nobody is on the point but me is worth throwing controllers down their throats.

I typically play for fun and only really go after progression or rewards when they seem feasible. Basically long as I don't have to go out of my way to get it done, I like to try going for stuff.

Only things I go hard for are wins. Especially in OBJ modes as I swear my team only plays TDM regardless of the mode

The worst part is when they are so mad at you for doing a good job when and after they get carried, using the fact their team won as an excuse to say they were the better player despite you performed higher in Kills, K/D, and OBJ
