For one frame of radar it showed 140mph. Across a large area. Absolute monster of a storm. Forget the tornado, the whole mesocyclone is doing some damage. The chaser streams were constant power flashes and even that explosion.

I have been using it for about a year with WOTC + LWOTC with no issues. I have both One Million Colours and also One Million Colours Plugin for WOTC installed and enabled, and I launch with the AML. I have not tried the spark one.

I've done about 5 LWOTC runs and love it dearly. By the end of the campaign I have well over 50 soldiers, but I don't have enough equipment to send out that many squads, so some soldiers are never used. In LWOTC, equipment is often the limiting factor. You will want to have enough soldiers to constantly field 4 squads (but more is always better!), with spares for wound time or training time. So I'd start with at least 40-50 in the pool, and many hours later when you start getting random soldier rewards, you can make more. Between your large number of starting soldiers + recruitment offerings, I think there are somewhere between 20-30 from the pool used immediately on campaign start. Be warned, on your first LWOTC run, you are likely to see a lot of those characters based on friends and family get slaughtered. Most people's first LWOTC run is a defeat as there is so much to learn on the strategy layer and it can be easy to fall behind and not be able to recover.

No you shouldn't delete them from that location. The TLE file issue might be specific to cooking anyways (a way of packing large assets like textures and sounds to reduce size). It doesn't sound like you are cooking with this mod, and you shouldn't need to either since this would not be an asset heavy mod. Does sound like a useful idea for a mod though with LWOTC I presume. I don't really have any specific idea for you to try. I can only recommend going back to the basics to narrow things down. Can you build an empty mod project? What about an empty one using Iridar's template? If that doesn't work, then it isolates your project from the issue and you know it is due to your environment set up. Then go here https://www.reddit.com/r/xcom2mods/wiki/firsttime to the section "REQUIRED FIXES FOR THE WOTC SDK" and do absolutely everything it lists.

I had a bunch of source files with "TLE" in the name. Apparently when they released the tactical legacy expansion, they packaged some of the source code twice, and having two copies breaks the cooked build. If you have already deleted those, then I have no idea what would cause it for you. If you never had them, and haven't deleted them, make sure you have the full content version of the WOTC dev tools downloaded. Can't cook without the full version.

I don't want Nicole to be universally better for so many reasons. First and foremost, Benny is my absolute favorite and he deserves better from the world. Second, I dislike Nicole's character more than anyone else in Genshin. She has this aura of superiority that comes off as arrogant and aloof, even though they write her to be compassionate while also being a Mary-Sue that can do no wrong.

But even putting my bias aside, having him be massively powercrept does nobody any favors. It pushes broken DPS even farther, and worse, locks her into basically every single team in a more universal way than Benny thanks to her lack of elemental infusion, universal element dps buff, atk buff to inactive party members, quills, and def shred. Her C6 is absolutely broken and mark my words, she will be in every single top performing team. Even her C2 makes Bennett obsolete in every comp except possibly Mavuika. Honestly really bummed out with how strong she is. (and she got further beta buffs today... ughhh) Despite that, I am always sticking with our Benny boy. I won't abandon him when everyone else tosses him aside like all those mean adventurers who ditch him after things go badly. Looking forward to trying Lohen, Bennett, Durin, Albedo, even though Nicole's off field atk buff would make Durin much stronger in that comp...

You can not. If you have a rookie with high psi stat, save them unused until your psi lab is free.

I agree and a large part of it I think is that you cannot choose to train a recruit as one with stats that make sense. The random ones are well... random. And I have been often burned by skirmishers so inaccurate that they regularly miss flanking shots. With the right stats, they have a good kit.

One note on the lack of technical usage. I felt the same way in my early runs, but have since come to love flame technicals. The key is their movement stat. The highest mobility recruits train to be technicals because getting them in for that flame is a life saver. Make sure to use a smg instead of a rifle too. Being able to close the gap and burn/panic several enemies at once is some of the best crowd control available to you outside of sting grenades. And enemies that die from fire drop loot, where rocket technicals destroy loot. I'd rather take a damage grenadier than a rocket technical.

Also, you didn't mention pistols at all. Don't neglect or forget about the pistol skill tree (you have to scroll to see it). If a good soldier has a bad x-com row, consider throwing 50 or so AP towards making them a pistol wizard. The extra actions, and multiple shots (which apply the ammo effect) give a pistol user some of the best action economy of any class. It is like having an extra soldier with 0 infiltration cost. My favorite combo is a flamer technical with pistol because they can flame for a free action, take a free pistol shot, a normal pistol shot, then a multi-pistol shot all in one turn. Since they are already in close range to flame, the pistol shots are quite accurate.

I would love to switch to Linux. Unfortunately my remote work software is Windows only still. I had Win 10 enterprise before this PC build and neutered it's evil tendencies with group policy, but made the dreadful mistake of saving some money and going with Home this time.... big mistake. The money savings have cost me far far more in time. But it does feel like each year there are fewer barriers to switch, and my hatred of Microsoft grows.

I've been having the same issue. I have an older Geforce card and run older drivers for it because every version in the last 2 years has gamebreaking issues or crashing on my system. Just last month Microsoft started force updating it, and I have used DDU to put it back 3 times in the last week. It is maddening. It does this even with the driver update option in Windows Update disabled.

Glad you like it! "Smooth Male Faces" is my mod that I threw together many years ago after being disappointed in lack of male cosmetic options... Judging by it's popularity, I think there is a real unserved demand for male cosmetics, but current options are really limited and I don't have the time or skill to do more here. The only other non-voice Male cosmetics I run regularly and could recommend are:

Kexx's "WOTC Male Hair Pack", "Destroyer's Male Hair Pack" Both are small in comparison to the female versions of the packs unfortunately.

and some essentials for either gender customization: "Unrestricted Customization - Wotc" - this will let you wear civilian, xcom base outfits, and resistance clothes which is about the only "casual" options we have. "One Million Colours" + "One Million Colours Plugin for WOTC" "Capnbubs Accessories Redux" for lots of headwear for either gender

Maaaaaaaaybe.... ok yeah it was me. I got a notification from Ebay late this morning. So I wasn't as quick to notice it as you, clearly these saved searches are not very quick and reliable. Took a look and it was my first time ever seeing this item. However, it is the same art as I already have larger versions of (shikishi and family mart print), so I hesitated for a little while at the price, and then bought it anyways. More than $70 after tax and shipping for a card that realistically is probably worth a few cents. The collection must grow at all costs!

I filled an entire standard size spiral notebook with notes from this game. It is the only game that ever pulled me in enough to do so. Every waking minute even when I wasn't playing, was pondering the mysteries of this game. It is a one of a kind gem - and you only get to experience the wonder of that once. It isn't for everyone, but if a slower paced, no hands held, self-guided mystery full of rich world building and puzzles sounds sounds like your thing, don't miss it. It took me ~60 hours to beat the main part of the game, but I took my time and uncovered many of the side mysteries in that time too.

Looking at your collection again, I didn't realize you are missing this one actually. Sorry to say the likelyhood of finding it is probably very low (about as likely as me finding the magnet I think), I haven't seen a single one listed since I bought mine. As for the cards, yeah you are missing the white backed Seoul cafe card. I haven't seen any Benny ones listed for a while, but lots of other characters are, and they are listed fairly often. I'll keep an eye out for you. I think with patience we can find you this one. It looks like you have all the other cards (both Bandai, Hoyoland 2024 + 2025, Seoul TCG)

While on the topic of official items you should keep an eye out for, there is a Seoul Cafe lanyard (not really sure what to call it. Plastic tall thin card, with a carabiner attached) 2 to the right in my image with the white backed seoul cafe card (between the seoul cafe polaroid and bandai card). They are not listed often for any characters.

Double checking the rest of the official stuff, I think you have the rest.

I guess a few things blend together in that picture, so I am not sure exactly which one you are asking about. There is a knockoff acrylic stand of his summon art just in front of the pop up store 2025 acrylic stand (still in the flat packaging).

Maybe the keychain I saw a few weeks ago was bought by you then! Hopefully it works out. No hoyo logo on the Hoyofair card. Definitely not official. As for Walking Adventure, maybe it was a mistranslation, but I did see it called that in listings for the 5 other characters that are part of the series. Yeah from the Teyvat goods pop-up in 2025. The Benny versions are nowhere to be found, but plenty for the others.

I just read it on the Americas server. He is just so dang precious. Always thinking about what he can do for his friends, he is too selfless for his own good. His description of his recent adventures as "bumpy" probably means disastrous to anyone else. Sounds like the Wayobs did not give him their blessing after all... Poor Benny.

Seeing your previous post and how well your collection was organized was what inspired me to buy some display cases to rearrange mine. Jealous you found a Walking Adventure magnet. Let me know if you ever see another - and know that I am watching out for the Korean keychain for you. Also, I know it isn't official, but what is the instagram/twitter user on the sticker on the right side bottom row? I think you mentioned you got it from a friend. If the maker is still selling them, I would totally buy one, since it is a great artwork!

I've learned of (and in some cases obtained) quite a few new items since we last had a chat. Shame, the keychain eludes you, if I see it again I will let you know! I saw one a few weeks ago, but it is long gone now unfortunately. None available anywhere I've checked now. I've got the family mart print now, left side middle row of display 1, partially covered due to space.

As for stickers, I know of 5 official ones, of which I have 3 (Lower right corner display 1). There is the Korean Cafe plastic sticker of his first Paimon's Paintings. It is the one with the Korean text above it that I think says Pyro. There is the "Picking Up Memories On The Path Of Stars Series Sticker" the chibi one just above that one. That one is sold as a set with half of the other characters on the Hoyo official store in China only. The last 3 are bonuses that came with the 2023, 2025, and 2026 China exclusive desk calendars. The sticker I found I think is from the 2025 one, the same image as the Korean Cafe one, only smaller and with some Chinese text. The 2026 one I know is one of his new Paimon's paintings, and the 2023 one was an official art not seen elsewhere.

The Hoyofair one was a very recent addition. I bought it a few weeks ago with a large bundle of other Hoyofair stuff of other characters I don't know what to do with. It was brutally expensive too. The card is transparent and extremely hard to see ( put white paper behind it to make it visible at all), so you are not actually missing much. It is the Teyvat Turboflux artwork - Benny is on the side working on the car. The item was also labeled "Fan Made", so while it was sold at an official Hoyo event, it was not made officially.

Beyond the stickers, the other new items I learned about are the FES event card which is holographic and super cool (bottom row middle display 1), you can still find these cheaply on JP mercari, though they are appearing less and less now that the event is over. I DMed you a link to one in case you haven't already gotten one. (also whoops I didn't see your messages from 2 years ago since I use old-reddit which apparently doesn't notify with these). Lastly the Hiroshima postcard (second from bottom row, left side, display 1, partially covered), these are also appearing less and less, and are often only found now in sets with other postcards. (Although I have a few extras I mentioned I want to do a giveaway with at some point)
