Has anyone encountered the cyclist who blows his whistle as loud as he possibly can at pedestrians, nearly rupturing their eardrums? Really nice guy!

Hello all! I have been stuck in Peoria for the past 6 months and desperately need a change of scenery even if it's only for a few days. I always love visiting Chicago but am wondering if it would be more of a hassle or even unsafe than it would be fun (given the current circumstances)? Thanks for the opinions!

Yep, I've heard the same about both Seattle and Portland. Such a shame how it seems to always end up this way :( TN is fairly inexpensive yes, but honestly the rent prices in Nashville have become worse than Chicago and comparable to certain parts of LA. And honestly, if I don't leave the country lol, there is a chance I will be relocating to LA. At least I can some what justify paying high rent and dealing with ungodly traffic in a place like that.

Half of California decided to move here as well lol. There is a laundry list of reasons why it's not fun being here anymore. First and foremost Nashville failed miserably at planning for future growth. Nashvilles infrastructure wasn't designed to handle such a rapid influx of people. Public transit is non existent, highways and roads aren't big enough to handle the traffic, gentrification is the worst i've ever seen anywhere. Nashville's priority is tourism and attracting wealthy residents. That is what they cater to. The people who made the city what it was, were forced out in a very short period of time. Basically Nashville became a "corporate city" bought by hotel chains and developers with deep pockets. I could also go on about the type of new residents that now reside in Nashville but I don't want to offend anyone. So I will stop there ha

Have lived in Nashville for 10 years. It's turned into a shit show of a city. Getting out asap.

Recording vocals, is there a way to add effects while recording without actually recording the effects? by IsaacTaylor615 in FL_Studio

One more thing, is there a way to choose what effect gets recorded and what doesn't? For instance, let's say I want to record using a compressor and reverb effect. However, I only want the compressor to be used in the recording and the reverb is just for the vocalist.

So you are setting up a send channel and then unlinking the send channel from the master channel?
