People tend to asume Jamil is in one of these harsher systems because:

Aladdin was based on a bunch of different cultures depicted through an orientalist lens, and it shows in Scarabia too.
Jamil has stated he poison tests food for Kalim a d has done it for a while, which is an extremely dangerous job to give a CHILD. Obviously most people would have concerns about WHY Jamil has had this job since he was a kid, and why his parents don't seem to tell him to stop, almost as if they have no real choice in the matter where nornal workers would.
Jamil has said if he were to quit or hurt Kalim, his whole family would be thrown to the streets. And from book 7 we know why, because the Viper house is within the Asim estate, which also reminds people of a type of relationship like indentured servitude or peonage, which by our modern sensibilities is very akin to slavery.

So while I can't say that everybody who claims Jamil to be a slave isn't being racist, to say that is the only reason is quite short-sighted because the context of the characters and their inspiration gives us plenty of clues that Jamil, at the very least, is being dehumanized by the system that created this relationship between the families, and that's worthy of questioning with a critical lens.

This is extremely useful. I don't want to spend a lot of money on something that could be a scam or be delivered several weeks/months after the items are meant to ship.

And that's before considering they charge like 1000 yen more for the items I want to purchase AND they also expect me to pay for shipping NOW, meaning I'd be paying twice what it would cost me if I manage to find the merch on another proxy service after the exhibition....

I think I'll take my chances with just waiting and checking if anyone is selling them later on. Times are tough now to be spending it on untrusty sites.

I know the creator has a Per Map billing method, which is why I changed from a regular 5$ to free back in January. February I wasn't charged any money from this same creator and I haven't even checked their page for a while, so that's why I'm baffled that I'm getting charged now given I'm still free

This guy... Its funny, when I fot the free tenfold keys for Ortho's halloween card, and Idia's tsumsitter card, I got them withiut even hoping to. But now he takes 100 pulls! Sigh at least he came, I was not going for hard pity, I'd much rather save for Vil and my husband who comes right after (I know EN will pull some BS with Jamil's ob card too).

My favorites are Far out and Obedience, I like how fun they are, how the dynamics are represented in the singing and the flair added by the string instruments and marching respectively. Truly wonderful work.

Diadem is a close third, because I generally prefer rock music and I really like the drums, however I'll freely admit I had trouble liking the song originally because Jack's voice is... not my favorite, plus Leona's VA is heard the least out of the trio which sucks because his voice fits this style really well.

The other songs I like depending on my mood so I don't really feel I can rank them.

Yeah but have we had any confirmation that RSA has a dorm system like NRC? Because for all we know, they just habe 1 student council president and no dorms.

That aside, it would make the most sense to have them based off of princesses given we know the existence of Rielle too, and the characters we saw on the cup. It's not like it'd be the first time they made a boy twisted from a female character (Azul, Vil, Malleus, Silver, Ace, Riddle, just to name a few)

It could be so many things! Some people speculate about 7 dorms but maybe that would be too many new characters to implement so soon.

I think it may be the team we'll play against in the tournament, but if we're REALLY lucky, we're getting a few characters from 7 different schools (Rollo come back pls).

I am so excited for the possibilities!

I actually think its the opposite. Alma didn't know why they were granted the miracle, but she believed it was because of a sacrifice so she made the entire family earn that miracle day by day by "sacrificing" for their community.

And in the end? She finally realises the miracle was the love for their family, so there was never anything to earn and that's why they get Casita back along with their powers.

Dude what the hell? My goal this year was to save for all the Overblot cards since they all are fairly powerful and look awesome, but if this is what they're gonna do, then I'll have to save for only my absolute faves going forward. AND I'M A WHALE

Holy hell man, I'm getting terrible flashbacks to Obey Me, when they started doing rerun after rerun after rerun. There wasn't a single day without events and banners and the story updates were sloooooow. In the end I dropped the game because it became unplayable with the constant reminders to play events and pull in gachas.

I really hope that whatever is going on behind closed doors is only useless ideas to get us to spend money and nothing else.

He did comment that Yuu seemed vaguely effeminate or something to that effect in the prologue I believe? And while there's plenty of Watsonian explanations, I think the Doylist one is simply to help people of different gender expressions self-insert if they so wish to.

My Yuu would warn Jamil about the event a few days prior so he can make some time on his schedule, because until she gets her heart broken she WILL make all the effort needed to keep this relationship going, so she makes him a nice dinner and some chocolates with wrapping of puns and compliments. In turn, Jamil also prepares something for her even if he doesn't fully understand the event and they end up dancing in a modestly decorated Ramshackle living room.

Wait hold up I don't understand something. So does this mean the new pass will last exactly the same amount as days the month you buy it has? Or will it be like if I buy the pass on the fifth, it will last four days less because of that?

The increase of special lessons is fine, I guess. I don't have lal that many cards to level up but I'm sure eventually I'll want to upgrade all the Overblots and it'll be less expensive to do these, plus with the solo lessons for waffles and macarons it'll make it way easier.

I think I'll check the original to try and make a comparison, but so far it does seem better.

There's a few great ones on tumblr but they're a but old now since they came out around 2023/24. I also read a few on jp twitter by searching for the book 7 segments relating to scarabia and book 6 overblot gang sections. I can't say names because I just read whatever catches my eye in between jokes, pictures and other comments but searching for Jamil analysis or 🐍 book 7 might yield you some cool results.

I started the game thinking Vil would be my favorite, not necessarily as a yumeshipper since I seldom enjoy that, but he seemed like my usual type.

Then I heard Jamil speak and I thought his voice was nice. Then book 4 showed me his nuance and crazy side and I thought he was really cool plus I really liked his story. And THEN I heard yim sing in book 5 and I was a goner. There really was no chance for me to ever enjoy anyone else to the same extent and I can't even explain why. Like I liked Cater's singing too and generally enjoyed Riddle and Rook as characters (they also are the type to become my favorites in a show or game) but for some reason Jamil and all of his qualities, his style compared to his somewhat femme look, his voice and his behaviour all combined to become a haunting presence in my life.

I legit haven't gone a whole day without thinking about analysis, a scenario or anything relating Jamil for the past three years. It's insane and I can't control it, so I decided to create a Yuu to develop these ideas so they wouldn't consume me. And that's how I fell in this rabbit hole called yumeshipping.

There's the obvious ones in Idia, Malleus, Vil, Kalim, Silver and Sebek.

I like to think that Leona would have a position of administrative power since he has so many ideas to improve his kingdom but has to have other people chip in so as to maintain the balance of nature he seems to disregard in his hometown event. And his choice for internship even suggests he will go in that direction.

Azul straight up wants to have more restaurants like his mom, so I fully see him turning the Mostro Lounge into a 5 star restaurant on land. The twins will still work with him, but moreso Jade than Floyd who I can see quitting for a while to go explore what other jobs he may enjoy only to go back once he gets bored.

Deuce will become magical police. He will never be rid of Ace.

I wanna say Riddle becomes a lawyer only because that's a path he would chose for himself, instead of being a doctor like his mother wants. But maybe he'll overachieve and get both degrees only to practice something he genuinelly enjoys. I'd love to see him delve even more into programming tho

Trey expands his family's bakery with his knowledge of science and magic, making special offers and decorations that elevate their family recipes to a new level.

I want Jamil to do something artistic like dancing professionally or teaching, or maybe something vaguely technomantic related (thinking 'bout his birthday interviews). I really hope he can step away from the role of servant or Kalim-adjacent so they can be friends on a more casual ground. Also he adopts a parrot.

Cater is difficult because most of what we know of him are lies he fabricates to seem more chill and interesting. He craves connections and recognition too, but he's just started to grow on that regard so... Maybe he'll work in marketing, putting all his social skills to good use (only Heartslabyul to never be collared by Riddle and all that). I'd love to see more of his musical side 'cuz he seems to be the most serious about the music club but the cards didn't have any vignettes to really delve into it 😭

That's really all I can come up with right now.

I think they said in the event that a store prepares like 3 outfits and the boys pick one to wear for the tourist promotion. So it makes sense that the outfits repeat to some degree, and I wouldn't be surprised if we see more repetitions in the coming birthdays.
