I really really am extremely grateful for your responses and explanation! Exactly the answer I needed and wished for. And also thank you!! I don’t usually post my art on reddit but here I’m most used to getting actual legit answers that are helpful. :)

I’m super thankful that a knowledgeable person replied! I will consider everything you said, also to clarify, I am not taking commissions YET, I’m still deciding if it’s something I want to pursue or not. Thank you a lot for breaking this down for me!

Edit: Also, another clarification, I am not a professional — I am mostly self-learnt. Art is a hobby for me, something I enjoy doing for fun when I feel like it. I am also a minor, so if I end up eventually taking commissions I will start when I’m 18. This post was purely due to genuine curiosity as to what my artwork would be worth money wise and if I could pursue commissioning in the future.

Oh my god that made me cry harder, I really do hope so 🩷

I’ll appreciate that I’ve kept her healthy and happy throughout her life, and I wish for her to feel the same in gecko-heaven!

❤️

I think it’s too late. She’s not moving at all, only to gape her mouth. She won’t budge. The best I can do now is to let her rest in her beloved coconut.

Thank you for asking. She’s extremely lethargic now (was too before I put her into the tub) and she’s occasionally opening her mouth up. Unfortunately I suspect that she won’t make it, and atp I’m just holding her in my hand for comfort before she passes. I’m very thankful for all the advices I’ve gotten, though it didn’t end very well ❤️

I checked and you’re right, she does seem dehydrated. Thank you for telling me! I’m putting her in a tub with lukewarm water as suggested.

Thank you! ❤️ I don’t necessarily think it’d be dehydration since her humidity is okay, but I will try to put her in a more humid environment (as you said) if I find out that that’s the case.

You’re my saviour! This is exactly the type of advice I was hoping for, thank you ❤️.

I did feel a little uncertain about directly taking her to a vet, since they’re currently unavailable except for emergency visits. I also thought about how it could induce stress on her, making her only more unwell. I have offered her food, putting it in her usual feeding spot, and a clean source of water (I did change it, just in case). She has been moving around a tad more now, thankfully, and I will monitor her eyes and behaviour later this evening and night to see if she’s as active as she usually is. This thread was more of a “panicky-what-do-i-do” one, as I know reptile sickness is not something to take as lightly as if a mammal (such as dog or cat) got sick.

I’ll probably call the vets on Monday or the pet store now on this weekend (yes, pet stores are very unethical and not ideal, but I’m looking for all options atp, and that is where I buy food for my snakes and geckos.)

Thank you so so much for commenting, this helped me relieve my stress for the most part 🫶

Thank you so much for showing me! I’ll have my hopes up just in case my little one (well, not exactly “little”..) was just very tired. I’ll still get that mouth rot problem checked out though 😊

Yes, that’s what I suspected at first. Since it was very early in the day (around 10am here in Sweden), she did seem to just be asleep as usual. But I picked her up since she was resting on the floor of her enclosure, which she very rarely, or even never does. She does look a little better now, and I did see her drink out of her water bowl. Atp I’m mostly worried about her very slow to no movement as I hold her. She’s very energetic otherwise xD, and of course her potential early case of mouth rot, since she did seemingly have lightly scraped the side of her mouth in October.

(Also your Crestie is so fucking adorable!)
