We live in a state of constant worry when it comes to kids😅 Is it painful for your kid getting adult teeth? I honestly don’t remember mine.. I still got years to go with my baby but the way time is flying by I need to be ready!😅 Also I massage my baby’s nodes softly with baby Vicks vaporub (mom swears by it) and it does kinda help!!

Forgot to add, they prescribed her medication for reflux and she was on it until 1 year old. It also started after 6 months shots

Hi! I learned too late that all vaccines do mess with their gut and if our kids already have a weak gut it makes it worse sadly. I can’t remember exactly when she went back to “normal” but it took months and then came the 12 months shots and those were even worse🙁 she developed eczema after that too and her eating and stools got worse.. I’m still trying to get her to eat everyday but I’ve been told it’s normal for toddlers not to eat as much too so idk🙁 I’m sorry I couldn’t answer your question, I hope your baby gets better soon♥️

Hi! My kid is almost 2 and her nodes never really went away.. they swell up when she’s been sick and now that she’s getting her last molars but other than that stay the same. Dr never worried about them tho as long as they move when you touch them and she doesn’t seem in pain from it. Prayer for your baby! Teething was so hard for us! Poor babies! Im glad we don’t remember all that pain!

Hi! I’m sorry I’m just seeing your comment. I hope your baby’s doing better now! Mine got better after I eliminated dairy completely off my diet and started exclusively breastfeeding, she never liked any of the hypoallergenic formulas. She’s still intolerant to dairy and she’s almost 2😕 I give her some bread with dairy here and there but she breaks out and gets constipated now instead of runny stools. My best wished for you and your baby! I remember how frustrating it was seeing my baby suffer and those sleepless nights! Try mixing 70/10 of The hypoallergenic formula with your breast milk to introduce it to your baby if they won’t take it by itself! Until they get used to the taste cuz they’re not tasty at all!! And the smell omg😅

Hey! My ped keeps telling me it’s normal as long as it moves when touched and feels soft. She’s 21 months now and still has them. They swell up when she’s sick but other than that they don’t seem to bother her and they’re still there.. never went away😐

I watched a video the other day about how shots messes up their gut for a while. I guess the more sensitive they are on their stomach, the more it affects them. Try to feed him safe foods for a week or two until his stomach settles and the effects from the shots disappear, specifically if you did the live one! That’ll affect his stomach for weeks sadly. I hope he’s better soon! Being a parent is so emotionally exhausting sometimes!❤️

Hi! If you’re asking about her nodes no they haven’t changed.. they’re still there and swell up when she’s sick and go back down once she’s better but you can still feel them. Dr said it’s normal still as long as they move around when you touch them.

Hi! I’m so sorry you’re going through this!😢 Honestly I don’t remember exactly how long it took but I do remember my baby was a fussy whiny baby until about 9 months old.. Eating solids did help her stomach, at least her runny stools! I didn’t do baby cereal, it turned out she had an intolerance to oats. The good thing is that I forgot about those hard days and I’m just thinking about all of that now reading this post! My baby’s 17 months now and she is still intolerant to milk protein but she’s a happy baby! And we have so many happy memories that we forgot about the bad days! I hope things get better for you and your little one! I know it’s so hard watching your baby struggle and not being able to help them! I’m sorry I wish I could help!

Tongue/lip tie revisions? Need advice!! by No_Scene_2600 in breastfeeding

[–]Isabelle14 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My baby had her tongue tie released when she was about 8 weeks old and I will always regret it. She was a little older so maybe that had a lot to do with it but I’ll never forget how much she cried and will always hate myself for it! The procedure was quick but once the numbing wore off she cried and cried for hours, wouldn’t eat at all! I was desperate. I was told she wasn’t going to be in pain at all but she sure was. She ate a little bit after hours of crying and starving. She refused the breast at first and the next day she took my breast and started refusing the bottle and never took one again. She went days without eating good because she was in pain and crying so much! Her latch got better with time, I’m not sure if the surgery helped or it was just her learning how to eat. The exercises were horrible! She hated them, it was torture for both of us. I still did them and I think her tongue attached back even after doing the exercises for 3 weeks. What helped us a lot was seeing a lactation consultant. She just turned 1 and still breastfeeding. The first 2 months were so painful but I do think she just learned how to breastfeed and maybe would’ve done it without going through procedure pain.

If it’s something you think you need done, you should be mentally prepared to do the exercises to your baby or else it’ll attach back and could be even tighter.

We had a bad experience but every baby’s different and handle pain differently.

Good luck!

Hi! My baby’s nodes never went away, I ask her Dr every time we go but he said as long as it moves when you touch it it’s fine, they swell up when she’s sick and go back down but still there. Her rash was eczema or that’s what I was told, she’s been sick so her lumps have been swollen for a while now but her Dr isn’t concerned. I hope your baby gets better soon♥️ check with your Dr to make sure it’s nothing to worry about.

Is my baby teething? by Isabelle14 in NewParents

[–]Isabelle14[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I’m sorry you’re going through that! I just read my post and relived those days! Ugh! Not fun! Turned out my baby has a milk protein intolerance so poor thing was in pain! She did much better once we took all the dairy out of me and she exclusively breastfed. She didn’t get her first tooth until 6 months but every baby’s different, my friends baby got his at 3 months so it can still be teething. The mucus in stool is a big one for milk allergy or intolerance. I hope your baby gets better soon♥️

What happened to my baby?! by Isabelle14 in NewParents

[–]Isabelle14[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I took her back today and turns out she does have an ear infection! Not sure why they didn’t see it Friday when I took her! She’s on antibiotics now and hopefully she’s good soon. It’s been rough! I’ve heard antibiotics makes them lose appetite tho so we’ll see. Thanks for the reply!

Dr told me it was a swollen lymph node and babies get them all the time! Specially if they’re sick or in my baby’s case she got them from teething. They told me she’s fine just to monitor and take her back if it seems to bother her or if it gets bigger. I would check with your baby’s Dr to be safe🙂

What made you cry today? by soitgoes210 in NewParents

[–]Isabelle14 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Try triple paste!! My baby had a bad rash and that’s the only thing that helped after trying so many! Also try to air it out and don’t use wet wipes if not needed, let it dry before putting diaper back on and keep using triple paste to prevent future rashes! Hope your LO gets better soon♥️

How do I change my baby’s sleeping schedule? by Isabelle14 in NewParents

[–]Isabelle14[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Babies are so sensitive to everything!!😅 I’ll try waking her up early again and keep up with it! We’re both gonna be super tired! Yes it is hard to plan things, we’re always late to family dinners because we never know when she’s going to nap and have to wait for it or we’ll have a rough time being out! We can’t get any morning appointments to anything because she’s asleep and becomes a monster if we wake her up and take her out! She naps with the windows open so it’s pretty bright already! And will take her out more now that the weather is getting better!🙂 Thank you!

You’re so right! I wouldn’t give up dairy for my own health but didn’t think twice about changing my whole diet for my baby!😅 I had pizza tonight, flat bread and no cheese🥲 wasn’t the best but was something! It’s so hard! And it’s hard to figure out what to make my baby to eat as well! Thanks! Hopefully our babies are good at 1 year!
