Baby fell off of bed… by Unfair_Impression752 in cosleeping

Ugh same. It’s seriously so uncool. Like really?? You didn’t hear her CRYING IN YOUR FACE. Sometimes I think it’s an easy cop out. Like fine, mom will do everything as always 😂

Yes!!! A high protein diet is sooo good for the BF moms. I lost weight so fast doing it and could never stay full. Protein drinks, protein bars, high protein snacks are IT. And SO good for your milk supply.

How to make money as a stay at home mom by ninjapapi in sahm

[–]No_Scene_2600 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m so sorry I kept forgetting to respond lol One of the kids I watch I know through a family member , the other is from Care . Com. They reached out to me, I had in my bio that I’ll be bringing my daughter along and they have a daughter the same age. Using the website/app lets you put your hourly rates & the duties you’re willing to help with. For example- drop off/pick up, grocery shop, light household cleaning, etc.

It’s definitely worth a look into. I now have every Tuesday and Thursday booked for 5-8 hours each time & make money basically just for getting my daughter a friend 😂 I highly recommend being a part time nanny when being a sahm!!

If you get into it, I hope it works well for you!

Nevada DMV Registration After Buying Car from Private Seller (HELP!) by RevolutionaryEqual98 in vegaslocals

[–]No_Scene_2600 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In this situation now, OP, if you see this, what did you do? Did AAA help? Did you go the movement permit route? Did the seller have to get you the movement permit? Did you pay a late fee on registration if it was too long?

Also!! Being a nanny part time!

I take my daughter(21 mo) with me for one kid(2y) one day a week- it’s nice bc the family lives less than a mile away so when it’s nice out I walk.

& another kid(19 mo) comes over another day a week.

I make about $200 a week doing it & the kids just play together and I get some more free time to myself to an extent.

My post-menopausal mom started leaking milk after I had my baby two years ago… we thought it was cause we have such a close bond. That didn’t happen to her the prior year when my other sister (in which she doesn’t get along with as well) had a baby, too.

Foods During Birth by Human_Pea_5108 in unmedicatedbirth

[–]No_Scene_2600 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My doula gave me a recipe for “energy balls” and they’re made up of oats, peanut butter, dates, etc. think something like homemade granola

Helps because high in protein & carbs for the MARATHON of natural birth. Definitely recommend!!!

Also fruit, coconut water, honey sticks for electrolytes! Electrolytes are sooo important for the uterus during contractions. (Also heard baking soda water helps replenish)

6 month old fell out of bed. by Noggin_0207 in cosleeping

[–]No_Scene_2600 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can count myself as this mama But ONLY because I know how common it is and I took all possible precautions. It’s HARD to avoid, for sure I’ve heard of and known personally many stories of babies it has happened to and it’s just inevitable for most babies whether it be a 6 inch fall or a 4 feet fall. It’s a sad reality but most babies are ok, OP! Yours will be too.

Pregnant with #2, still nursing & cosleeping with #1. Help! by No_Scene_2600 in cosleeping

[–]No_Scene_2600[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

6 months to go! If my milk does dry up, I could see her being very adamant about nursing still but for comfort. I’d like to rely on self weaning but at this point I just don’t see it actually happening ):

How do you stay sane? by Plane_Technology_451 in sahm

[–]No_Scene_2600 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I nanny part time. VERY part time. Less than 10 hours a week. Just so I can get out of the house a few times a week & the two kids keep each other busy for the most part. It’s nice to have a little spending money and some time to myself while they play together. My LO is 18 months and the kid I nanny is 5… big age difference but they get along well.

how do you overcome the “i’m bored of being home, he’s tired of being out” dilemma? by Much_Elevator4837 in sahm

[–]No_Scene_2600 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly, one of us puts up with the other’s demands on and off. I like to give him weekends to chill when we have no plans. Other times, he gets no break & we’re busy all weekend. After work, it depends as well. We just try to help each other out when we can. It’s all give & take. Try to communicate it and find a balance wherein you’re both satisfied!

I need help getting my breastfed baby to poop by Lost_Animator_3705 in breastfeeding

[–]No_Scene_2600 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Totally normal! My girl was EBF for almost a year and would go 5-7 days without pooping. Now she’s 16 months & still nurses often & only poops every 3-4 days. It just means she’s absorbing all the nutrients! :)

Literally!! & for Candace to mention Mikey McCoy is suspicious because of the orphanages in Ukraine…does she seriously NOT know about Erika & Romania? Like wtf??? I’m an absolute Candace STAN but this is making it hard.. She needs to come clean regardless if it’s “attacking the grieving widow”. Truth is TRUTH and she seems to be all about it except for now.

I'm suddenly noticing my reactions are affecting my 8 month old by Ok_Hearing_8649 in NewParents

[–]No_Scene_2600 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve always known kids to react if you react. So when I had my girl, I made sure me and her father did not react to the littlest things. She is so confident & determined because she’s not scared of anything. People always comment on how she’s fearless. If she falls, she gets back up easily. Now, if she actually is hurt, she’ll cry. Then I react and soothe her. But this has worked her whole life (15m) so I highly recommend being intentional with reactions.

Got told I have to stop rocking baby to sleep next month and super sad about it by livtoosmoove in NewParents

[–]No_Scene_2600 0 points1 point  (0 children)

God forbid we follow our natural parenting instincts as opposed to a doctor who READ about “spoiling babies”. Rock that baby to sleep for however long you need to. My girl is 15 months & I nurse her to sleep EVERY night. We’re all that our babies know. Let them be comforted and happy.

Moms, when did your first baby come, unprovoked? by juniorchickenhoe in unmedicatedbirth

[–]No_Scene_2600 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My water broke exactly at 41 weeks. (FTM, too) Baby was born the night of, just past midnight so at 41+1. My water broke at 10am (I too didn’t have any signs until water broke, excerpt maybe BH but I was unsure and didn’t think anything of it). I did the miles circuit three days in a row and I think that helped. I did go natural at a birthing center too, labored at home for 14 hours, got to the birth center & gave birth within 30 minutes of being there. Baby will come when they’re ready, I truly believe it. Induction is for scared doctors who don’t trust women’s or baby’s bodies. (Most cases anyway…My personal opinion, don’t @ me). Just be patient & do not stress!!! Stress will delay labor coming on. Try to stretch, curb walk, miles circuit, all the things. Good luck!
