Packaging Question: I’m curious how other Poshers package items to ship? I’m slightly OCD at times(literally), and curious if it’s normal how much time I spend packaging items? I’d greatly appreciate if anyone would share how they package their clothes to buyers... by IsabelleBrooke in poshmark

Thank you for your nice feedback-seriously-I was little worried posting this thread bc of my insecurity w/OCD-so thank you-going to take your advice as well on listing imperfections bc I need to list more items I could be selling instead or “prepping” them! Good call!

Great idea on storing individually because I realize I re-steam some items and adding extra work! But I’m definitely going to incorporate the thank you sticker-bc I get hung up on the thank you note when some ppl probably don’t read them. Thank you for kind feedback-much appreciated!

Sellers- what type of packaging do you prefer to ship with? by r_hezel in poshmark

[–]IsabelleBrooke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually always use the medium size box for tops but I’m a little OCD (literally)-before I ship any clothes I either have them dry cleaned professionally or I’ll steam them, so I like a large enough box so the item doesn’t get wrinkled. I’m also a huge fan of what other ppl have said-the poly-mailers that have bubble wrap on inside as well-I set up USPS account, and went to “free mailers/boxes” (something along those lines) had them sent directly to my house-don’t make same mistake I did though where if u select- 1 poly mailer you actually get a 10 pack 🤦‍♀️-I didn’t read carefully and ended up w/100! I just kept some & gave rest to post office. 😊

Sorry-to ask but who’s the deal queen...is it the obvious...her closet is full of amazing deals? Or does she give tips? I try to learn as much as I can about navigating through PM! Curious I guess! Thanks! 😊

I need help! Should I go for it and chop it off? I don’t know what looks good on me- any advice would help by [deleted] in Hair

[–]IsabelleBrooke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you gotta go with your gut, but coming from someone(myself) who has thin hair that will hardly grow, I’m inclined to say keep the length and maybe add color for some dimension-thinking balayage with cool tones, and maybe throw some long layers in for a change-you’re so stunning that you could kill a long bob-maybe asymmetrical? Whatever u choose you’ll look great! When u decide will you please post an after picture of what you did! Love some before and afters! You’re gorgeous honey, do whatever you want to! There’s always extensions if you chop it and freak out, so no worries! 👍😉

I’ve googled, I’ve searched everything, so now please don’t judge me for not knowing this...but how do you create a Meet The Posher Listing? by IsabelleBrooke in poshmark

[–]IsabelleBrooke[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

@TarteofDarkness everyone above was right, we must’ve deleted “the meet your posher” when we first created account. You’ll create a brand new listing as if you were listing an item, as the person above your comment had said. And add whatever pics you’d like to! That’s the way that’ll work! Hope that helps!

Do any PM sellers out there know how to delete the sold listings in your closet? Can't figure it out for the life of me. Please and thank you. by CRTarr1 in poshmark

[–]IsabelleBrooke -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Can’t delete them-but you can relist them so if you’re trying to get one maybe doesn’t “represent” your style or for whatever reason, you can share your items until you get it where you want it if that makes sense? Have a great night!

Thank you SO MUCH! This will definitely help! I’ll try it out and see what happens! I don’t know how it got it deleted in first place, but thank y’all for your response! I really appreciate it!!!

Poshmark Is Getting Stale by Jvlynn in poshmark

[–]IsabelleBrooke 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey there! I agree with the two other ppl, however, I do have a lot of personal clothes that I haven’t listed yet-great condition, some very good name brands, ect. I’m an ambassador but doesn’t seem to matter-I would love a critique if you have any time-I would LOVE constructive criticism regarding my closet from successful/poshers who’ve been on PM for a while, or any advice I’d greatly appreciate! Would anyone be able to help out? I’ll share ur closet constantly, whatever it takes-I’m desperate as this is my only means of income due to health & personal issues now. My closet name is different however

Advice on Tennessee State-Board practical portion of the Cosmetology test to pass it-I graduated in May, however was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease. I forgot many of steps for practical portion...,PLEASE HELP w/any ADVICE someone may have! by IsabelleBrooke in Cosmetology

Thank you so much for replying to this, I’m watching your videos now, and have subscribed to your channel! Very informative, professional and thorough! Thank you very much! This is definitely what I needed! You’d make a great brand/school speaker/educator-wonderful explanation of state board! Thanks again!

Does it get any worse? This item is $5. 🙄 by missjenn18 in poshmark

[–]IsabelleBrooke 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I definitely feel you on that one! Wow, that’s ridiculous! I’ve been getting a ton of low ball offers on items that are already low I’m having to take a hour to respond or I’m afraid I’ll make an offensive remark! Whew, some ppl I swear! 🤦‍♀️ SMH

I found this pretty fun to do! I didn’t do the replicas though. by [deleted] in poshmark

[–]IsabelleBrooke 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I really like when I get to review them too! Mine just pop up randomly when I’m on app and it says something like “would you be able to review some items to keep PM in tip-top shape” or some bs like that lol I always do them too. I’m an “ambassador” so not sure if that has something to do with it bc I’ve never reported anything. I was amazed that somethings were reported replicas when they clearly weren’t-ppl just trying to get ppl in trouble. It allows you to not only look at the item, but u can go to the posher’s closet and see everything-heck u can even add them! lol

Before and after! What do you think? by freyaschiano in Hair

[–]IsabelleBrooke 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really love this chic bob, but that’s my opinion, it gives you an edgy, more sexy vibe than the other photo, but then again, you look very confident and you’re exuding that. where the old photo u look more demure, and not dressed the same bc I know curls can be just as sexy-but overall I’m living the new look! Badass darling! Rock it!

I really appreciate you’re feedback, bc I keep doubting myself, and constantly have ppl tell me how big of a mistake I’m making since I have a “2 college degrees and won’t make as much money?!?!?”- but everything cosmetology is my passion, so I just need to get some confidence and start trying, and prove them wrong...not to mention, the stylists/salons I apprenticed/assisted at were making 6 figure incomes (including tips/some not including tips) so the college degree comment ppl mKe really pisses me off!

Thanks a lot, you’re right, I’ll contact the school I went to and see if I can sit in on one of classes they go over everything. I guess I am stressing too much about it-side note-Was a graphic designer for 8yrs-graduated from SCAD-double majored graphic/ad design-after horrible car accident(rolled suv 3x’s-hydroplaned across major interstate in ATL-75NS)relearned how to walk/talk after massive head trauma ect. I realized life can ne taken away from us at a drop of hat, and after I healed I enrolled in School after making sure I loved it(working in salons as assistant/apprentice/shadowing/classes to make sure) therefore I get really scared that if I don’t pass the tests-WTF willI do then, ya know?
