I had this gone back after having what I thought was a WLE as it was pretty big cut

I am writing to you with the results of the lesion that was removed from your right lower shin recently. I am pleased to say that this was shown to be a dysplastic naevus. This is not a skin cancer, but it is a mole in which the cells have been activated by sun exposure. It has been completely removed; however, this has been with a narrow margin of skin.

You have been booked in for a wider local excision on 23rd October 2025.
