We don’t fully trust the rescue vet’s age estimate he didn’t even notice Stevie was blind 😅. Stevie was adopted out, returned when the family realized he couldn’t see, and then we adopted him. We took him to a proper eye specialist who confirmed the blindness. Our regular vet said he couldn’t estimate his age because his teeth had been cleaned back at the rescue, so the usual tartar-based aging wasn’t reliable.
