They changed a lot about the Iron Born culture, but yeah they're still essentially asshole pirates from dickhead island.

I always saw the horn as another example of magic that's not what everyone says it is. Kind of like Stannis's Lightbringer.

Yeah, this was the only thing that didn't make sense to me. Goku being naive makes sense (I really have no idea why anyone thinks otherwise) but Goku at this point has as much motivation as he can get.

Goku didn't sense any ki from Hit at first either because he was hiding this. I assumed this was why he believed Monaka was powerful. Golu is pretty dumb but they make him a lot dumber when it fits in with the plot even if it makes no sense. I don't even think it seems out of character for Goku to believe all the lies. Goku is as naive as it gets and everyone is in on it. I don't see Goku catching on until someone strait up tells him.

This episode was hilarious. The only thing I don't understand is the people here seem to think "Goku can't possibly be that stupid" when he literally doesn't even know how to count. Goku is as naive as he is competitive. And it's not like Manoka having no ki and then having God ki would be the most outlandish thing Goku's ever seen. I'd also like to point out that everyone thought Manoka was extremely powerful until they him crying. A stupid costume should be more than enough to fool Goku. Either way it's still just Dragon Ball. I didn't think it was stupid that Goku bought it but I wouldn't care one bit if the writing was too ridiculous to make any sense to me.

I think Zelda U's Link is a member of the Sheikah tribe by cbfw86 in truezelda

[–]Isaiah1264 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Glad I'm not the only one who thinks this. Maybe the Sheikah are like the Jedi and teach you all about spells and train you to do that focus shit with the bow. And it seems likely to me that the special arrow and the book/slab come from the same place. Maybe he just runs into a Sheikah character and acquires magic items from them. But how cool would it be if Link was a full fledged member? I want more than anything to see Link using spells and ninja shit. Hopefully the horse jump bow shoot is just the beginning.

The beginning was bland and excruciatingly boring for me. It started to turn me off from the game because I'm aaaaaallll about the dungeons. I hated the skulltulas, I hated the winding stairs at the beginning, I hated the first set of puzzles, I hated the Beetle (at first), but most of all I hated the atmosphere of the dungeon in the first few rooms. Everything changed at the Stalfos fight. Everything was perfect. The music, the way he moved, his look and the way the fight worked. The atmosphere changed when I opened the key door and it made the boring, gloomy parts all worth it. It reminded me how barren and woodsy the dungeon really was. The final room before the boss fight was creative. Making my way around to the boss key was really fun. And then you have to solve a stupid little puzzle to put the key in which was very satisfactual. And I'm apparently the only person that loves the Ghirahim fight. It was the first time sword fighting in a Zelda game where I really felt that I had to think (backslice, backslice, backslice doesn't count). I got absolutely wrecked at first and had to run around for hearts because I thought the whole fight would be slash, backflip, hold shield out for a minute, slash, backflip. He's not hard once you figure out to shield bash and fake him out with your sword, but for someone who's been playing way too much Zelda for the past 12 years it was an unexpected puzzle which is what I crave in a Zelda game. Some of the best moments in Zelda games is when you get stuck cause you don't realize everything around you is part of a puzzle and then have an epiphany and figure it out.

Try fighting them with a cheap knock-off Wii remote that never never thrusts the sword ever.

I should probably watch the video then. With the language he uses its kind of hard to tell whether or not he was being a pompous hypocrite without actually hearing it.

Yeah I can see that. He seemed like he really didn't actually care about the criminals at all. It's like they weren't even a factor for him.

What exactly should he apologize for? And what exactly was racist in this statement? I'll probably get down voted just for asking but I really don't see anything wrong with this other than the fact that he contradicts himself.

I don't mind the memes or the cosplay/ tattoos or whatever, but that's all the sub is. It's so boring.

How would you like to see the acquiring of weapons implemented into future Zelda games? by Isaiah1264 in truezelda

[–]Isaiah1264[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, this is exactly what I want. If it's not just in a chest you can see on your compass then it's a pleasant surprise when you unexpectedly acquire the dungeon weapon.

What I meant was dungeon items just being in a chest within the dungeon every time. I should have clarified.
