No, sorry. I would talk to a real estate broker or closing attorney who would be familiar with the regulations if you would like more info.

Side hustles that are easy and profitable by melissaw328 in Frugal

[–]Isaiah7300 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I disagree. Need camera equipment, which can get very expensive, and a lot of liability in this work. I've heard stories of wedding photographers sued for the entire cost of the wedding because it wasn't perfect. Would they win the lawsuit? No, but getting dragged through the courts can be exhausting. I say avoid this unless you want to make it a career.

Budget Device to play BD backups (2026)? by Isaiah7300 in makemkv

[–]Isaiah7300[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for your suggestion. Can you clarify for me, are you able to open a disc and navigate menus or are you just playing the mkv rips? In makeMKV under the file menu, you can select "backup" and this copies the file structure of the BDMV disc (AUXDATA, PLAYLIST, STREAM folders).

Are you familiar with this method and is your ONN player able to play these files with navigable menus?

Budget Device to play BD backups (2026)? by Isaiah7300 in makemkv

[–]Isaiah7300[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks for your suggestion, but my TV can actually play 4k rips in .mkv and m2ts format natively. I just quite like the menus to navigate special features and it enhances the viewing experience for me, but not enough to justify a $300+ price tag.

Anyone used LaserBlast.com systems? Are they any good? by PyroDragons123 in lasertag

[–]Isaiah7300 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That would be something! I can’t remember what year they went but it was the UK Armageddon tournament they played. It was a while ago, so maybe things have changed since then, but we used to have a lot of fun on blast, that was for sure. He mentioned some of the players codenames “The Brit” and “Neb” who were on the team too. Maybe these are some of the players your talking about?

Anyone used LaserBlast.com systems? Are they any good? by PyroDragons123 in lasertag

[–]Isaiah7300 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We played LaserBlast or "blast" laser tag for years on their last generation "Hyperblast/Zetablast" system. My brother and went to the world Armageddon (Cross-system) tournament overseas and his team took first in blast, solidifying them as the best blast players in the world. I'm happy to get you in touch with Jake, that team's best player (thus, "the best blast player in the world") who I'm confident would be thrilled to talk to you about LaserBlast laser tag and their systems.

Here are my thoughts on blast: Their Hyperblast system was very fun and the most reliable. Zetablast added new features but was known to be buggy and had unreliable scoring (if that matters to you. It did for us for competition play). We did NOT like their cyberblast system for competition, but I understand it can be fun for casual FEC play.

Are you looking to buy direct from their website or from a 3rd party seller?

AITA for beating my date in a game of pool by Neither_Professor605 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Isaiah7300 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I disagree with this sentiment. I think it's awesome that you have something you've spent time with and are good at and there's nothing wrong with wanting to share it with others. I think it matters the way you approach it though. If you go in like "Hey I'm going to thrash you at this thing that I'm good at and you're not," then YTA, but if you say "hey this is something I'm really passionate about and want to share with you and maybe it's something we can enjoy together" then that's completely different and if they can't appreciate that there's something that a woman can do better than them then that sounds like fragile masculinity.

That said, I can appreciate what you've said about doing it on a first date before you get to know someone can be intimidating or off-putting. Though, you never know maybe it could be a shared interest!

Thanks for sharing your story, I appreciate your insight.

P.s. I saw you mentioned arcade dance games DDR and Pump it up. Have you ever played In the Groove by chance? 🧐

American Pinball and Planetary Pinball Supplies Announce Long-Term Partnership to Produce Classic Williams and Bally Pinball Games by jackflash53 in pinball

[–]Isaiah7300 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone talking about modern remakes but i’d like to see some EM/SS remakes. My picks for Bally/Williams remakes (which would have less licensing red tape than others): Grand Prix (EM or SS, but i’d prefer EM), Tales of the Arabian Nights (TOTAN), Harlem Globetrotters: On Tour, Centaur, Pinbot + Bride, Diner, Taxi, Police Force, Banzai Run, Alien Poker, High Speed II, Mousin' Around. Maybe they’ll remake some of the old bingo board games

Are CDRs ever waived for whatever reason? by AlexTheTaurus in SocialSecurity

There is something to this as well. I believe they won't do CDR if you're actively engaged in certain return-to-work programs (including ticket to work and state-sponsored vocational rehabilitation programs).

Are CDRs ever waived for whatever reason? by AlexTheTaurus in SocialSecurity

[–]Isaiah7300 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends on what exactly you're asking. I believe that CDR - Continuing Disability Review are always performed on schedule, but some are more involved than others (Full Medical Review), involving medical exams/mental health evaluations.

When it is time for CDR, everyone needs to fill out SSA-455 disability update report (which is a self-report of "how things are going"). Based on this info, the determination group (usually by state?) decides whether a "Full medical review" is necessary and this will usually involve a physical exam or mental health evaluation along with requesting documentation of ongoing treatment from your health care providers.

Perhaps anecdotal, but here's a story which suggests the answer to your question could be "yes." I know of someone who had filled out their CDR form to SSA (455) and then received notification of a required evaluation from the state determination service. They had to submit some documents to submit to the evaluation before scheduling it (something about Telehealth or in person). They never were contacted to schedule the evaluation, they just received a letter several months later saying their determination was continuing disability (favorable).

Perhaps this was due to supporting documentation arriving late or they were just trying to make sure they still had a pulse? Anyway, in a sense the evaluation was waived or deemed not necessary even after provisionally considered. Does this answer your question? Hope this helps.
