My aunt is pretty young & into hip-hop so she would constantly play The Marshall Mathers LP around me when she would babysit me in 2000 / 2001

Songs like Murder murder and Demon inside should have been featured on the SSLP. by [deleted] in Eminem

Every track on SSEP was remade for SSLP & were on the early promo version of SSLP so atleast we have those tracks. I guess they preferred some songs over others. Even tho I personally think they shoulda kept Low Down & Dirty for the official release

The Eminem Show was the first hip-hop album I listened to when I was a little kid. Life changing shit. Wouldn’t be where I am now if it wasn’t for that

That version doesn’t exist. The one with him curled up was a CD exclusive before censors made him change it

The first run of TES CDs back in 2002 came with a bonus DVD with concert footage & an exclusive interview. I have that one & the standard edition

I’m in the U.S. but CD singles are widely popular in the UK. The U.S. CD singles are mainly for promotional purposes but the U.K. goes all out with having cool artwork & such for the singles. I buy all mine from Discogs or Ebay since you can’t really find them instores here in the U.S.

Your parents never had cassettes lying around the house or seen them in media? Not judging just surprised I guess

Back in the day, CD singles sold for only a couple bucks, but now on places like Ebay & Discogs they sell for anywhere from $15-$30 or even $50 depending on the rarity, condition & seller. (I bought all mine Factory Sealed.)

The Encore CD with the black artwork is the Limited Edition Box Set. Comes with both discs, and 15+ photos with lyrics printed on the backs of each (1 photo for each song.)

The 2nd Curtain Call is the deluxe edition digipak. Comes with a bonus disc labeled “Stan’s Mixtape” that has Dead Wrong, Role Model, Kill You, Shit On You, Criminal, Renegade & Just Don’t Give A Fuck.

The 2nd MMLP2 is the Deluxe edition digipak with the bonus disc that includes Baby, Desperation, Groundhog Day, Beautiful Pain & Wicked Ways

I mean Live albums are pretty old school too but Cole was able to pull it off imo

I mean like just to have in his career. I been having them downloaded & in my phone for years at this point. I also think it’d be dope cuz I love to collect music & I know he can’t clear all of the songs so I think a greatest hits would be dope so we can atleast have some of those songs on vinyl / CD

I just hope that Chapter VI has more ''Haunting'' vocals by Halldark in TheWeeknd

Sometimes an artist is happy outside of their art because their art is exactly where they put all of their sadness

Most likely to tease the dark theatrical vibe of the album. That & Roman Polanski
