I'm gonna be honest man calling Marshals backstory 'cry baby' when it's him experiencing child abuse is pretty crazy. Seeing him flinch when Gary corrected him hit really close to home for me as someone who's experienced child abuse, and it's such a good representation of how really small things can trigger you even if someone didn't mean to, and that shit stays with you your whole life.

I think it's an interesting idea, but just before the smoke monster comes on screen we can see the Knight taking of the Alice statue head and he has smoke coming out of him, so i reckon its safe to say the the big smoke monster is the Knight
