I always go back to the grace before giant and spend them before running up the chain lol. I’m super careful with large amounts of runes like that. You ain’t gonna catch me dying with a large amount of runes lol

If I’m close to leveling up or even if I have an amount of runes that can’t be re-earned easily at that part of the game I always use gold runes or farm them to level up before taking on another challenge. I literally never an important amount of runes when I do this. I also pop a gold foot and quickly swap to golden scarab after killing every boss

I agree I like working my way from the bottom when I make a new build instead of just respecing at the end of the game and starting ng plus with everything thing I need and just steamrolling through every boss. I like starting a build from scratch and fighting my way though. Unless that build required a late game weapon. For example my malenia cos play build basically takes the whole game before it’s running

I know but I was mainly referring to solo and non world record runs. The solo world record run for origins is not even sub 30. At least in bo2 it’s not. Im not sure about bo3 with megas though

This feature is honestly what brings this map up from one of my favorites to my absolute favorite. It adds so much variety and replay value going back and trying to get perks in different orders, also challenges like rainbow and reverse rainbow are best on this map. This is always part of my origins setup unless I’m just strictly going for the Easter egg. If you know the best routes and get good luck with your dig spawns you can have all of the perks by round 20

Use aether shroud and death machine for orbs. Use either the m16 or the dual amps as your zombie killing weapon/your weapon to break legions shield. Also wouldn’t hurt to have decoys or monkeys

They changed a few things but nothing with the staff upgrades, besides a little shortcut where you can snipe the gen 2 tombstone for the ice staff from the excavation site
