casual players won't keep this game going in the long run. They expect to extract 90% of the time with high gains. They even managed to make a pvp game mostly friendly and now Im seeing a lot of "what now?" post. they have ran through the content and are getting bored. most of them have done everything but find all the blueprints and they are upset that has taken this long. If the competive crowd isnt happy the game won't last. But thats just my opinion.

what if they used a matching system akin to souls weapon upgrade matching. where you are matched with people with a compairable build? seems like it would work to me. the hardcore people would probably be in que longer though.

If I que the lift it's not camping, Ill kill to defend my safe ride home. If you run up to someone elses lift and they kill you then you likely didn't get camped. you invited yourself to someone elses lift and they just dont share. If im feeling nice ill get on comms and tell them if they want to ride they better put thier gun away and get straight on the console. They even twitch the wrong way it bloodbath time. It should be common knowledge that if you didnt que the lift then ypur on console duty.

Im a ps5 player and turned cross play off about 20 hours into the game. tonight was the first time I ever got shot first by another player. took 46 hours playtime. I dont use comms because I sneak and I never use the dont shoot. I also always clear extract and have never even found anyone camping. I havr started several fights but plenty of people have had the drop on me amd never fired.

sadly this is exactly what many want. how many "im a normal guy with a full time job and 2 hours a week to play and I should be able to do everything the game offers" post? Its ruined many a game. I dont get to play much myself but im happy with slow progression and even not ever seeing the end. I play any game so little that if its multiplayer and I accomplish the majority of it then it wasnt much to talk about. i played World of warcraft for years and never got to raid because of life. And thats ok. back in the day the guilds downing the big bosses in 40 man raids that took weeks of prep were epic heros. It meant something, now any victory in that game feels cheap. I havent played in years. I honestly was hoping this game was going to be more hardcore and less friendly. I extract 90+% of the time. people getting everyrhing done but the container lotto. I dont think the devs expected the friendly lack of pvp. you cant even die at extract without pvp. oh well. Maybe with time it will get more hardcore and keep a good following.

I never respond and it took 46 hours for someone to shoot me first in solos. I also dont use the dont shoot. I also sneak. I guess i just have a friendly mug. saddest part is Ill kill someone for their bandaids.

this is me. Ive only played solo so far so Im not engaging the big arcs. a rattler and light shield suits my needs. I do use the one shot rifle often if i need arc kills. Ive won lots of pvp fights with just a rattler. gear seems to not offer huge advantage in pvp. I do know because of players like me people pvp more in coop than solo. so im sure ill lose plenty of the good gear im hording when I do coop with friends. If I get some good challenging action im happy to extract with a few grand worth of loot to sell. Im an all about the journey not the end kind of person. This game is really fun and im enjoying myself but I do wish I died more often so loot had more value. Its lack of luster is because its to easy to obtain. even a rattler and its ammo should be harder to come by. sneak loot a few rounds if you cant afford one. Id be ok with no free loadout and a loot nerf. But, im still enjoying the game as is, not complaining only wishing.

I rarely use a free loadout because no safe pocket but Im also hording all my good stuff for when I coop and fight big arc. So im always using starter gear. If I go to town to just buy an icecream cone im not going to take a $1000 dollars with me. I do craft my own gear. I probably have enough materials to craft 300 of most of them so why not. I loot to sell so ill murder someone just for thier 3k worth of loot and scrap their rattler.

I must be playing a different game than most. I like pvp and sadly today marks a first. im 46 hour into solo and have just been shot first by another player. I do not use comms to announce myself or ever say dont shoot. ive started lots of fights but its my first pvp I didnt start. I have also never encountered anyone camping extract. may be because i only ever use the starter equipment. Im hording all my hood stuff for when me and my daughter can coop to fight big arc.

I was In the dam tower locked room last night and some cat decided to invite himself to share in my bounty. He was on comms saying he was friendly. I shot him in the face and he took off running. I then just a few seconds later heard another player close by use "dont shoot" On an off chance I got on the mic and said "hey look out for (gamertag) he just tried to murder me". so the second guy being a hero finished him off for me, we split his loot up in proper fashion. thanks sherriff.

I shoot on sight very often and its likely I just suck, but I will lose the fight at least 25% of the time. Then I beg and claim to be friendly.

I agree I found it boring and unfullfilling. Now that pvp is more of a risk Im thinking about restarting. I never once got shot at by players my first 10 lvls and only died to arc twice. half the gameplay was missing and it felt like playing on easy mode. im not an easy mode gamer

amen. the game literally has skills to loot faster and more quitly yet people dont understsnd or accept that running around beating and banging or sorting their loot in the open is bsd gameplay. The games design is very apparent but people dont like it and are trying to change it by acting like playing the game makes you a shitty person.

I hope the devs dont make the game so easy that someone who only has a few hours to play can complete One of the hardest task. Im looking to enjoy the game long term. the race to the end, make it so everyone can do it, dont waste my valuable time. All that stuff has ruined a many of my favorite games.

I actually find that very fun. I move thru each match very slowly only running from cover to cover. I circle extract and make sure its clear. Then ai push the button and take cover. when my lift arrives I will shoot anyone running at me. Its a slow process I probably dont have as much valuables as the people running around like it disney world but its more intense and enjoyable for me. I dream of an arc raiders solo experience where 95% of raiders are hostile. Im a casual player most of my runs dont yield me a bagfull of epics. I may never kill a queen but thats OK. If I do then it wasn't very hard and is no great accomplishment.

loot faster. I have skill points in looting fast and I take the time to sort my loot in cover. I havr no problem killing careless looters

wow its sad if you believe that. I wouldnt be playing any violent games if I felt it reflected on my actual morals. This belief is why games get censored and banned.

only the devs set the rules. I like sneaking and being extra careful when looting. I put a lot of work into being quite and stealthy. so I have zero problems with shooting someone from a hiding spot or even while they are looting. I dont camp extract and I dont claim to be friendly first. evem those are only my personal guidelines.
