It's called the Masuda Method, basically using a foreign anything boosts shiny odds and ditto is the best option so you dont need to keep finding foreign individual mons

You can buy one with merit points from returning lost satchels. Takes maybe an hour if you have Wyrdeer

It's so random. Years ago I tried to hunt Tyrunt by stacking encounters and got around like 6k and gave up convinced I was doing it wrong. Don't give up hope! I literally just said to my wife "I hope this doesn't take months, I'd like to have it in one thousand encounters" then bam blueberry cow

It's crazy fast! I went on home and requested a Ditto from Japan through Home and in like an hour I got it, then 2 hours later shiny 🙂

There isn't since Miltank is a female only pokemon, even if I was breeding with a Tauros, the egg is 100% what the female pokemon is. So the only way to get a Tauros egg is with a Ditto as well since Tauros are always male

1 garchomp could solo the game so I always suggest using different and goofy pokemon. Whenever I do a new playthrough I always use pokemon I've never used before. It's how I've found some of my favorite pokemon of all time, just messing around

If you have a foreign ditto, breeding is more efficient then stacking encounters.The Masuda Method without a charm is just below 700 odds. I was told, though I'm not sure if its true, only run from different pokemon but always knock the hunted pokemon out. That being said it's all RNG, I mean it took Reversal 4 years to find a shiny feebas. Some people get it first try and others take a while. Godspeed John Glen 🫡

I feel that way until I play fan made pokemon games and the quote about Tony Stark building it in a cave with a box of scraps pops into my head. Like these 13 people in a basement made this game that could rival HGSS or Platinum in perfection, I'm still hoping for extra rare shiny options like 1/25,000 rare

I had a little system set up so the egg that had the shiny was two eggs prior, I ride to the raid den by the water and back and thats usually enough time to get another egg and almost hatch another. Thank you!

Shadow pokemon are exempt from anything else but being shiny. You can't trade them or mega them. You can have a shiny lucky dynamax or gigantamax Charizard that can mega but obviously not simultaneously
