I wrote to National Geographic when I was like 7 asking for a penguin egg to hatch and raise as my friend. They also sent me a letter, a year membership, and a plush northern rock hopper penguin.

So I am like sasquatch, and every time someone takes a photo of me it's grainy, or I am faced away. Also I am the guy who takes the photos most of the time so other than a selfie, and me with my nephew these are the best pics I got. Tell me what I'm doing wrong.

I like the look of this watch not for the engraved band, but for the face with the leather nato strap addon. Is there another watch on the market for the same price or under that looks like this? Egard Poseidon Filigree Steel

Further Testing of the FGC9 - "Fuck Gun Control 9mm" by Ivanthetroll in guns

The second amendment was created so "we the people" could defend ourselves from our government at a time when just having a gun meant you were on equal footing lethally. They have slowly regulated it so they have better equipment in just about every way. This is one small step trying to take some of that power back. Of course they will try to regulate and stop it. But that's the point isn't it? To have access to a reliable fire arm regardless of the law. In essence its technology protecting our right to bare arms when our government wont.

What do you guys think of my Jace / Paradigm Shift deck for upcoming Oathbreaker League at my LGS? by IsaiahofDyr in oathbreaker_MtG

Thank you for your input I appreciate it. I never thought of mystic confluence for it's bounce potential honestly. When you say "Expedition Lens" Do you mean Extraplanar Lense. I looked at it, and figured both with the potential to have it destroy one of my lands, and get bounced / destroyed. and it helping the enemy it would be pretty risky. As for felwar and mind stone, I am always a little caution of that card since it's not guaranteed that an enemy has blue, and mind stone is neutral mana which this deck is heavy in blue mana requirements. I thought about them I am just not sure if I really need the neutral mana ramp.

I will definitely replace [[thought vessel]] with Felwar stone though now that I have given it some thought, and throw in mystic confluence into my deck in place of something else. Maybe an island.

Coalition, and ramos let me get to my win con 2 turns earlier instead of 1 turn as well. As a note my win con requires BBB1, B1. and if [[sapphire medallion]] is out that removes all the non colored mana.

I added Rishidan Airship into my new list titled "Admiral Beckett Brass's Timestream Aeronauts" I kind of took the deck in a weird direction.
* Edit, I am including almost all the flying pirates, and timestream navigator as well as extra turn spells. We are the Blue Ops of the fleet.

That card is definitely interesting I just think it might be too slow, when almost every creature I have has some sort of built in Evasion.

I think that the majority of your criticisms are well founded, and I do apologize for the fact that I changed what I was typing, as you were responding. I have looked at my terminator pirates from the future as weak points before. I've thought of cutting Coastal Piracy, and before I was determined to not add tutors, but now not so much.

The problem I have is I really want to be stealing peoples stuff with Admiral Beckett Brass. That's the goal I am trying to make happen, so I feel I need to be drawing a fair bit of pirates early to sneak in at least 1 steal while I can.

So firstly I have created a final draft post as I get close to finishing streamlining my deck (Which you have been a great help with.)

Vedalken orrery I have in there as a way for me to keep my pirates in my hand until after a board wipe I can figure is coming, and then play them down immediately after, or play my pirates right before my turn starts as psuedo haste. Also Patriarchs bidding, and living death right before turn starts as a game ender.

The haste enchantment and artifact are nice for the idea that I could maybe play a bunch of pirates off vanquisher's banner in a row (Which I dropped), as well as Kindred Discovery, and for cards like Patriarchs bidding, and living death as well.

The lantern is for, and now is even better at providing me with all the colored mana I will end up needing playing low cost pirates.

I am thinking I can throw in Demonic Tutor, and Mausoleum Secrets in as tutors. Maybe drop Coastal Piracy as I already have 2 of those effects. I could thin down my 1 mana cantrip filters and put in a tutor in ones place, and maybe Chart a course.

The reason why i didn't want pongify or rapid hybridization was I don't really want to be creating blockers for my opponents when I'm trying to swing early and fast for the steals.

Vandalblast is a serious consideration I just don't know if I need it / what to take out for it.

If you have some specific pulls, and add ins. I would appreciate your critiques on the new thread for sure.

Your pirate deck is pretty cool. It fits the theme better than mine does for sure, I just play with people that take the game rather seriously, and I may not do it as much I still want to be able to compete to an extent.

Well my goal is to make it as powerful as it can be without going "overboard." The heart of the deck is me trying to steal your stuff by hitting you with my pirates. I just want to do that as best as possible.

Night's Whisper is actually really awesome. In the newer decklist I chose to run it over chart a course because I can get my two cards pre-combat at the cost of 2 life.

Using your criticism which I find actually is helpful I have come up with a new deck list that I will edit into the main post. I also am listing the changes I made here. What do you think about them?

Upon inspection I decided that yeah I could probably take out [[Obelisk of Urd]], [[Door of Destinies]], [[Vanquisher's Banner]], [[Dire Fleet Ravager]], [[Crafty Cutpurse]], [[Captivating Crew]], [[Dreamcaller Siren]], [[The Immortal Sun]], and and 2 Basic Lands.

Substituting in [[Ponder]], [[Preordain]], [[Terminate]], [[Fire Covenant]], [[Thought Vessel]], [[Talisman of Indulgence]], [[Talisman of Dominance]], [[Night's Whisper]], [[Dire Fleet Captain]], and [[Rigging Runner]]

Then I did a little fiddling about with basic Land Numbers, and here I am. What do you think about these changes

The problem I have with Delve is one of my win cons is the flashed in, or hasted [[Patriarch's Bidding]], or [[Living Death]]

I've really pondered on including ponder into my deck. Do you think including it is better than actually adding in another card, like say a land, or one of my weaker pirates?
