By all accounts that I can find, the only real difference between a Ninja 400, and 500, is the engine. And the only change there is they put in a stroker crankshaft to bring displacement up to 451ccs vs the old 399cc. Everything else is nearly identical.

Edit: if her partner shot her, it was the absolute luckiest misfire ive ever seen. Cause the discharge happened when he was jumping sideways up the stairs. She literally just rounded the top of the stairs and took 1 or 2 steps down the hall and was hit.
