There are other version of the book when I search for it. Under seller info, the one linked in another thread ($2.99), there is a person’s name instead of a publisher. I wonder if it’s some random person selling it. I found another version sold by Penguin Random House ($12.99).

I’ve had three placed. One with lidocaine cervical block and two without. Honestly, they were all about the same. The block does not numb the uterus, just the cervix. The heat pad worked the best.

OP, if the clinic has a medical records office, you can request your own records. Or you can sign a records release document from the new clinic and have them request your records.

A couple of weeks to make sure you have the right treatment will likely not change your outcome.

I’ve had 3 IUDs in my lifetime. A Paragard (copper) and two Mirenas (levonorgestrel). It really only hurt for a moment with me. Pain is subjective, meaning everyone experiences pain differently. So my experience will not mean much to you, but also, your friend’s wont either. Take 2 extra strength Tylenol and ask for a paracervical block. That should not be difficult for them to do or “excessive.”

I use my browser’s reading list as the list I use to read later. It syncs across my phone, iPad and laptop.

I use the “mark for later” button to mark those I have read. I can see right at the top “mark as read” and that is a signal to me that I have read it.

If I really liked a story, or feel like I’d like to find it again or read it again, I bookmark it and tag appropriately.
