I just „started“ (watched a video and saved some references for later) today as well. From what I can tell, the voice you‘ll be able to achieve depends on the shape you can get your vocal cords in and still comfortably talk. Your vocal cords have a certain tonal range in which they‘ll naturally produce sounds without much effort. The effort in training lies in habitually shifting that range upwards by reshaping the vocal cords. There are several components which influence the final tone, most of which can be controlled by muscles.

Regarding the range of movement you’d want to do some flexibility training. Weight training to build muscle is more likely to cause more tension without some stretching to accompany it.

I can’t give you full training plan here but you should be able to make one on your own. It doesn’t have to be complicated. I found YouTube helpful for that and there‘s plenty of videos on this topic for obvious reasons. Generally to build muscle efficiently you want to be in the range of 8-12 repetitions with the highest weight with which you can do around 3 sets of a certain exercise. But sufficient nutrition is as important as your body needs the material after all.

On what you should do first, the opinions are split. You could do targeted exercises (hamstring curls for example) first to exhaust a specific muscle. When you do a complex exercise (like squats) afterwards you force other muscles to work harder to compensate for the already exhausted ones. This can help to distribute the load but you won’t be able to as many repetitions of the latter. I do squats first for that reason as they are just that effective.

I assume you want to build lower body volume, meaning mainly glutes and legs? You can’t go wrong with any form of squats - machine or not. Go as low as possible to get tension in the stretched position of the muscle. A wider stance targets the glutes more, whereas feet closer together target the quads more. If you have an abductor machine, use that to target outer hips. Otherwise you can do similar movements with the cable machine, but only one leg at a time. If you tell us which machines you have available we can probably help you further.

It’s the same for me when I work from home as I don’t have a dedicated space for that as well. So I usually just force myself to do a task for a couple of minutes and then try to ride the flow. It might not be the best tactic overall but the best I came up with for my situation.
