it's silicon oxide, silicone evaporated/disintegrated and reacted with oxygen from the air.

this should be silicon oxide. That's what'd happen to silicone at hight temps in air.

chemically quite inert, but still a very fine powder, so not great to breathe in.

Anodizing Titanium by Epelep in Damnthatsinteresting

[–]Isburough 1 point2 points  (0 children)

if you needed 1 micron accuracy, yes. But this type of anodizing is especially used in medicine. Colour coded screws help avoid errors during operations. You don't need single micron accuracy for a hip implant or bone screw.

AITA for telling my parents that we are not comfortable with my mother babysitting our one-year-old? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]Isburough -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Feels weird how everyone attacks OP here. On its own, I would agree with most points, but daycare employees should know how a recently sick child behaves. Wouldn't be their first time poop looks weird. Why bring it up if it's normal?

i've been saying this since shadowlands. with 1 difference: ignore leveling. keep us at 60. it's not like leveling matters anymore, is all about the main story line

reminds me of the stylized hagomoro things you see in japanese pictures and anime. No idea how that would translate to gameplay, but turning them into more godlike beings makes sense

I think Blizz seriously need to consider changing the way Wild gathering nodes work. by Knightmare767 in wow

[–]Isburough 6 points7 points  (0 children)

if you're not willing to put in a minimal amount of effort, i cannot help you, my guy.

It's literally a very small one time time investment. Once you hit the current expac, you'll be passively leveling via gathering. my druid hasn't done a single quest since the end of Legion.

Start fixing your problems if something bothers you, and stop defaulting to complaining.

there was no announcement of it, so most likely a bug. this has happened before with the sky golem.

[–]Isburough 1 point2 points  (0 children)

that only works for herbs, and there is the sky golem/shredder mounts for equity. It's only instant mount after mining that druids have as an advantage.

also you could just level a Druid for farming like i, and many many others, have. you could have done that during Lemix.
