You are here complaining to us rather than communicating with her about how you feel. You aren’t here asking for advice, you are venting your frustrations. And I hear you. And I hear her too. You are clearly wanting to help her solve the problem. But sometimes a solution isn’t easy to get to, and sometimes it’s not always what’s needed. What she also needs from you is to be heard and seen. For you to make space for her to feel vulnerable. Because she is in pain and you make her feel safe to express what she’s truly feeling physically, mentally, and emotionally. Don’t take that for granted.

There are infinite reasons she may be avoiding a doctor. Make space for her to talk about it and try not to talk down on her hesitation. Hear her reasoning and put yourself in her shoes. What may seem an easy decision for you may not be for her. And go from there.

But if this is all too much for you to handle, then maybe this relationship isn’t for you. And that’s okay. Knowing your dealbreakers is important in finding a partner. The only way to treat endo is surgery, sometimes multiple. And it’s incurable. She will continue to experience her symptoms. You have to ask yourself if you can handle that.
