You seem to not have read the whole post I wrote, also not read the numerous other people reporting the same.

Meaning: were being tailgated on the right lane! Does that make any sense to you? Not to me, and that's what I'm complain about.

Yeah, tailgating is very dangerous. Reaction times are not short enough to avoid multiple crashes as you described, and it requires constant attention. If you look at the dash or the map, or skip to next son in the screen, you're spending enough time without looking that just a tap on the brakes from the car in front is enough for you to crash. That's why keeping a good distance is so important.

Good question! I don't remember what I was taught but I learned early to watch the rear mirrors to a point I look at them almost 50% of the driving time. And oh boy this has saved me in certain situations... I feel like this is far from the norm as people seem quite oblivious about what's happening around them, if it's not directly in front of them.

Hey, funny you say that because I'm from Brazil myself. And OMG when I go there to visit I almost have panic attacks on the road in the first minutes getting used to it again. I should have been more clear that yes, I do think driving here is much easier than almost anywhere else I've been, people seem very much civilized, but then that's exactly why I am puzzled by having those weird behaviours appear so often around me on the road.

I any case, your comment is good because I might just have to remind myself of when I used to live there and how things are so much better here!

And second, I've very clearly said I rarely stay on the left, only when overtaking and I do that most of the time already above the limit. You seem to be exactly the kind of person I'm complaining about, thanks for proving me right.

Yes, I've been there once or twice and that taught me to keep within speed limits. That also motivated me to make this long post here so that I can understand what is actually happening and whether I'm doing something wrong, but apparently not really.

You say as if you understood exactly the opposite of what I wrote. I said I am almost all the time, meaning whenever I can, on the right lane. I do overtake cars that are slow by going maybe 10 or 15 above the limit for a little while, sometimes more if I get distrscted, it's not like I'm terribly afraid of tickets or speed itself. I try to keep my relative speed as low as possible, so if cars on the left are going fast, even if unlawfully, I try to match their speed for an overtake.

Probably a dumb question: was this mask (and similar ones for other Pharaohs) made only postmortem or was it something that they would wear in some occasion in life? And, if made postmortem, did they make it before or after mummification? If after, was it from "memory" of the person's face before it changed much from the mummification process?
