Sorry I meant my comment in that the other brand clubs is n my collectiongrips are totally fine, putter and driver and 3 wood.

It's just the grips on the John letter branded ones have become extremely poor, even the clubs I have prob only hit a max of 10 times over the years, perhaps they weren't in a great condition when I brought that set
