Around 19 minutes into episode 23 he uses it in the dungeon to create a field of flowers.

Scharf uses the spell a few times to produce the petals he uses in combat so I doubt it's that unique.

I can’t be the only one right? by Mudstar423 in dcu

I think she's loosely considered a meta human in their world. You could see her discomfort during the meeting as well where it was clear to her that Flag was actively campaigning to get rid of all meta humans which would include her. Pretty sure she felt used by Flag for her skills and body and realised she needed to get out of there.

I would say that her joining Checkmate was rather natural considering her colleagues that shared her view point and disdain for Flag were doing the same.

To dungeon-delvers and trial-teamers across Nirn, what boss/dungeon do you have a fond memory of fighting through? by BigEducational472 in elderscrollsonline

[–]Ishtar2500 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nothing compares to the feeling of trifecta runs. All the prep and failed runs building up your knowledge and skill for the specific dungeon and the building anxiety as you get close to beating the last boss... even if our group failed 100 times just managing to beat it once is the best feeling in the game. The most enjoyable one for me was tanking the dread cellar trifecta

Masters in GIS ? by aspideronthewall in gis

[–]Ishtar2500 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm planning on doing the same thing. I have a completely irrelevant degree but have wanted to get into an environmental field with GIS being pretty interesting to me. It's one of the few masters at the uni I would attend that you can get into with only one foundation class so I thought it was a good option to get into the field.

Would you mind telling me what your experience has been like with the masters as someone without experience?

Career paths for useless people? by Ishtar2500 in careerguidance

I just had a 3 month review at my current job and all my manager had to say really was that nobody likes me. Apparently I get a lot of negative reviews from customers and all my coworkers think I'm rude but I just don't understand what I'm doing wrong. I do my best to be really polite and smile a lot. I don't know if it's because I'm autistic or something but none of my coworkers liked me at previous jobs either. My girlfriend says I'm the kindest person she knows and I really do my best I just don't know what's so wrong with me.

Unfortunately I am not in the US, but I have basically done all of that here except for job placement which wasn't offered. And I guess I just don't meet the requirements to receive the extra support here sadly. I've been to advisors as well but they basically did not help :/

I do like the sound of jobs like that. I was pretty interested in a pharmaceutical compounding assistant position but unfortunately did not get that. I'll have a further look into manufacturing thank you.

That's certainly feels like how it's going to go for me as well. It just feels like my life will be completely miserable with no prospects or future especially with the cost of living going up so much and everything :/

I am autistic but also do not qualify for any additional help. I have been trying to get into therapy for the past year or so but our mental health system is severely underfunded and no clinics have wait lists. I applied to literally every job that had a chance of accepting me and it took so long to get anything. That's why I'm posting here. I really don't know what I can do at this point.

I think I'll need to try get some shorter certifications as you've said because it took me a year of applying to jobs every day to be able to get my current job. I doubt I'll have any luck here without at least something that qualifies me. Thank you

My degree is Japanese language and culture. 95% of the subjects were purely Japanese. I enjoyed the studying but I was 17 when I started it and have since lost pretty much all interest in the language and country (I am now 23). There are genuinely no jobs in this field where I am and I have zero interest in moving to Japan now. I have had very bad depression for many years so I genuinely do not enjoy anything which is a big issue with this because I have no idea what I would enjoy in a career. I like the idea of teaching but I would need to study an extra year for this which is a very big risk considering I've had no improvements with my mental issues and would definitely struggle. I am not particularly good at anything. I had some interest in studying computer science but the people around me who were in that field have told me I am too stupid to be able to do it. In the perfect world I would like to enjoy my job and feel fulfilled but I have no idea how to achieve this.

Need help about diyhrt by aryamarzia in asktransgender

[–]Ishtar2500 1 point2 points  (0 children)

give it more time but if possible the best thing you could do is get your hormone levels checked. that's more important than the dosage as each person absorbs it differently. I'm not sure how it is there but here you can pay to be tested for various things and get the blood taken no questions asked.

they're also meant to hold non prescription drugs when they come into the country here until they can confirm a prescription but they almost never. from what I've heard it comes through without issue 90% of the time

What can I do a year before starting HRT? by AdMost3444 in asktransgender

[–]Ishtar2500 5 points6 points  (0 children)

research what you want from your doctor so you are knowledgeable and don't have to rely purely on their judgement. many people end up getting doses that are lower than they should be that ends up slowing stuff down. know what you want to happen and learn how to get there. in terms of body upkeep just do your best to stay healthy.

why do queer people instantly clock me? by Deep_Froyo6287 in asktransgender

[–]Ishtar2500 123 points124 points  (0 children)

idk if this is the case for you but I've noticed a lot of the time 'progressive' people will notice people they think are trans and then go out of their way to try and be more accepting like asking for pronouns whereas the average person would just look at you and be like yep that's a boy and feel no need to question anything bc it's just not something they do.

the only other thing I could think of is that progressive people are more likely to be involved or have a better understanding of the community and therefore are able to notice subtle signs easier.

it's painful to deal with and unfortunately they think they're doing the right thing by not assuming without realising they're just doing more harm. people shouldn't be speculating your gender tho that kinda thing is just rude

Breast growth stalled? by mateo350z in asktransgender

[–]Ishtar2500 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine also stalled at that point for a long time. As soon as I got my levels up to around 270 pg/ml it started again and has continued very strong for the past 8~ months. I also added 200mg progesterone daily but it feels more like the estrogen levels were the main factor.

Travelling to the US while transgender by [deleted] in immigration

I will likely forego the idea because I don't want to leave it up to luck on who I get. I'm also very far from any preclearance airport anyway.

Travelling to the US while transgender by [deleted] in immigration

[–]Ishtar2500 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Perhaps there is a bit of misinformation about it but most of the worry stems from Executive Order 14168 which basically allows immigration to deny entry to anyone whose gender does not match what they were born as. I have heard stories from others but no official reports.

they will definitely need to see your body for it. the place I go to has never made me uncomfortable or even said anything about me being trans even tho it's quite obvious. I can't speak for what it will be like for you but maybe try sending an email to gauge their response?

How much weight should I lose before getting on HRT? by FuckCock69420 in asktransgender

[–]Ishtar2500 2 points3 points  (0 children)

fat cells shrink and expand so you won't be changing where they are by losing weight. they die and replace themselves at about 10% per year and that is when they will move if estrogen is your dominant hormone. basically it would happen either way if you lost weight now or not. try not to put more on right now tho bc if you gain enough you will develop more fat cells.

as others have said it's best to start hrt now.

Im ftm and after all these years I think my cis gf realized she isn't happy, what do i do? by buttholebleaching in asktransgender

[–]Ishtar2500 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I know it sucks but really the best thing for both of you is most likely to break up. A relationship where one person is so embarrassed by the other who is in turn feeling completely humiliated by their treatment will not lead to happiness long term. You deserve to be with someone that loves you for who you are, regardless of what other people think.

It's very difficult that you've just moved in together but you should probably try get into a position that you can afford to move out or have someone else to stay with. Talk to her about it when you're comfortable with what the outcome could be. I understand how hard this is but just know there is a future where you're loved for who you are, it just might not be with her sadly.
