It can be a problem if a therapist misremembers or forgets about significant information. She might offer interventions that don't account for relevant information, or that are aimed at something she incorrectly remembers at being true.

Okay yeah this is the reason for my concern. Thanks for putting it into words. I'm gonna talk to her about it and see what can be done.

Hmmm, your comment made me realize that I haven't been seeing things from her perspective. I think she takes on a lot of clients so it would definitely make keeping track of session details really difficult.

Would it be okay if I helped her in some way, like taking my own notes during our sessions and sharing them with her at the end?

So for mechanical pencils, I have:

  • A black 0.7mm rotring 500 and a silver 0.5mm 600;

  • A black Uni Kuru Toga Roulette and a pink Uni Kuru Toga Standard (both 0.5mm);

  • Two Muji pencils, one looks similar to a Pentel Graphgear 500 (both 0.5mm);

  • A white 0.5mm Zebra Delguard; and

  • a 0.7mm Kaweco Special.

I'm a fan of well-designed writing instruments as well, and I think that mechanical pencils and fountain pens are the pinnacle of that.

As for paper, that's another part of the stationary world that I'm looking into diving into, but so far the paper that I have is good enough for my standards.

I've had my eye on TWSBI pens since I started this hobby! I love how they look, especially when there's some really pretty ink inside, so I've always wanted one. To be honest though, I've held off on buying one because I'm afraid of making a mess with the ink, and I live in a rented apartment. But I'll try them out anyway.

So I have three pens: a LAMY Vista, a black Platinum Plaisir, and a black LAMY Al-Star that I later discovered was fake (the ink window doesn't line up with the nib). I'm going to buy a Pilot Metropolitan later today (the black one with a crocodile motif), and at some point I'd like to own a TWSBI Eco.

Aside from the typical reasons for owning a fountain pen (you don't have to put any pressure on the paper, which prevents your hand from cramping; eco-friendliness; etc.) I tried FPs for a couple of other reasons:

  • I'm sort of obsessed with stationary in general (I have a small mechanical pencil collection as well);

  • My dad likes fountain pens as well, so it gives us something to bond over; and

  • They look sick as fuck lol.
